Hello Guys , i was wondering if i really should be Undead for to play Rogue in PvP.
I really don’t like the look of Undead but Also i want to be competitive in PvP and for to get the last tier PvP Gear. I like Blood Elf Race but i saw that all hard core players rogue in PvP are ALL Undead , and i think it’s Just an sad thing.
You can absolutely be blood elf if you want. Orc is also a top tier PvP choice. Or just play whatever race you want, the racials are not a big enough advantage to keep you from any particular rating. If you’re good at the game you’ll get to high rating even if you’re not playing the ‘meta’ races.
It’s an advantage to be undead, but not huge. Especially if you play with a class that can dispell fear (paladin/warlock/priest/shaman).

If you don’t mind playing as an ugly corpse so you can minmax racials in a minigame in a 15 year old game, sure, go undead.

I don’t care Min maxing i want Just to enjoy my Race (Blood Elf in this case) and to can get High rank Just with skill. I was worried about to not unable of to do PvP because "my choice wasnt an Undead " and all players as i said are all Undead for pvp and for me Undead on leather it’s meh to me. Orc are Better as look yes but i don’t like their face on Classic and TBC.
I’d recommend not worrying about it. The amount of times this factor decides a match will be scarce.

Look at it this way. Undead racial against 3 classes. Belf racial work against 6.

Blood Elf isnt that bad, the silence can also be great.
Overall i guess UD is a little better. You are still going to be competetive though.

Undead or human, no other choice, undead is by far the best tho, don’t believe the noobs here that suggest blood elves
maybe orc depending on the setup

You’ll still get caught by perception.
Joke aside choose whatever race you like, at the end of the day you have to enjoy your char looks while afking in org.
He said he wasnt trying to Min max. It may be more important if you are going for the glad title, but when you are just trying to have fun it doesnt matter that much.

it wont matter that much, at the end of the day you’re a rogue and can just cheese faceroll into decent rating based on how grossly good your class is.
Yeah who doesn’t want to give themselves a mortal strike debuff

I always thought UD looked the best for rogues! The way they walk in stealth and their animations are awesome.
Pshero plays a BE rogue and an undead one from what I’ve seen on his recent vids, he uses both their racials to win games, to equal success, BE racial seems very strong with energy return and extra silence.
At least you aren’t playing ally and have to play gnome!

You can get glad without being undead as well. I’m going to try for glad too, and I won’t be undead ;). Also, I’m not sure if the glad title was even there in s1.
