I refuse to believe blizzard doesnt see the immense problem caused by HvH change

I used to farm rank 12 solo, against 90% premades. I know you are full of ***.

Alliance has the best PvP racials by a long shot. I don’t know what you’re crying about.

way to put holes in my argument. /golfclap

People putting so
Much effort to save wow.

My wish- wow should die!

Doesnt respect customers! Neither horde or Alliance.

I know ur emotional about wow, i am to, but this abusive “friendship” must come to a final
End.

I know many will disagree and i hope for the sake of people who continue play, things will get better and u will have fun! No matter the faction!

For me its over, and i feel such a relief!

Take care all of you!

I’ve just reread the first post and I’ve noticed the OP doesn’t actually mention the problem they think is present.

Blizzard have never said their goal is to balance the factions.

I think they are just sore that the Horde now have shorter queues, well, at least for a day anyway.

Horde queue times were straight up unsustainable. Even though it’s a “player made” problem, it would just be unrealistic for anyone on horde to try farm full honour gear and I’m very happy with some changes (easy to say as a horde player). The wargame mode does hurt the alliance, there’s no denying that but I think it’s still less of an issue than the queue times horde had before.

Perhaps they could alleviate some of the effects this change has brought by introducing free (or significantly cheaper) server transfers for alliance players and disabling warmode for their faction. Then alliance players now stuck on dead realms can more easily transfer to realms with likeminded people and their immersion isn’t broken.

I disagree with that the horde queues are a smaller problem than having an alliance faction but the faction transfers wont help at this point if HvH stays in the game and nothing else is done to the situation.

Theres simply no reason to play alliance except for the first group i mentioned, but even then those people have most likely all switched to PvE server already.

If you’re only playing a faction because of the viability of racials then I think you have the wrong midnset. I play horde because of the looks and lore. Same reason why I enjoy playing alliance, ally zones, cities and quests are awesome.

Besides that, I think you might not really be aware of how big the problem was for the horde. Someone did some number crunching on disc and it would generally take horde 10+ times the effort to farm the same amount of honors and marks. Making it next to impossible to get all honour pieces before a season would end unless you play 24/7.

So you think everyone on horde side is playing horde because of the lore? How is your opinion of right and wrong relevant for the situation?

Its pretty clear why horde has these queues and blizzard should address the cause not the symptom?

Also considering this problem is really only related to this season before people with switch over to arena its like shooting mosquitoes with a cannon.

How about when alliance players after this cant find dungeon groups and arena groups? Isnt that a pressing issue directly caused by this change?

The real root cause of the issue would perhaps be people’s minmax mindset, how are you going to fix that? As a developer you want to apply the easiest fix that carries the least amount of drawbacks. This is a relatively easy and straight forward fix with probably the least issues in blizzard’s eyes. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t going to be introduced as a permanent feature.

As I proposed, I think some of the drawbacks alliance players will face due to this change could be mitigated by letting them move between servers more freely.

Well that would bring us to the topic of this whole thing. This solution cannot be the least amount of drawbacks. I for one cant see this game functioning when PvP servers are 100% horde and PvE has the alliance players

You cant fix the mindset but you can insentivize people to join alliance. The short BG queues was one of these reasons.

It very likely is or Blizzard probably wouldn’t try it. I think you’re really underestimating the issue horde had. There will still be alliance dominated pvp servers, even more if transfers were cheaper for the alliance, just more polarized for all. It sucks not to see anyone of the other faction anymore but the most important thing is to find other people to play with imo.

Ok change HvH again and ill farm lvl 60’s from early in the morning till midnight every day.

Yea, give it a couple of weeks, gl finding any.

You realize empty threats like this make you sounds incredibly childish. Its not like you would make any difference in the amount of ganking thats going on anyway.

agreed w u

But he is doing his part :grinning:

every time some noob lvl 70 horde ganks my alt i logg over on my main and corpsecamp that bad horde. its really weird how the horde player has no chance to 1v1 a lvl 70 instead of a low lvl. one.shadow priest i killed 5 or more times even tried to fear me when i used bestial wrath was very funny.

Major horde pvp problem not minor. also it is your own problem that there is so few alliance. no one forced people to mass roll horde for tbc. but dont worry in wotlk it will be other way around.
