What happens with all developments of evolving digital products…
At some point: They make them perfect, spot on, could not be better.
But they have to keep their jobs and keep working. So they sit thinking “how can we improve this?” only they can’t. So all that happens is they downgrade, devolve, destroy what used to be good.
I don’t get nostalgic either, it is quite a peculiar concept to me.
But what they should do, is work out what they had right and change some things back to how they had them, right.
So what is the difference between playing Classic and playing main stream “retail” BfA WoW up to level 60?
"Blizzard changed some starting zones a little… The only real significant changes are the Loot modes, the talents, spells and talent tree and the user interface. "
That is just about all the difference, as I said in my topic here…
https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/critical-review-division-is-destruction/
…which nobody can be bothered to read because it is so big xD
But my topic isn’t just about Classic so I am not trying to hijack this thread. I just think this point is relevant here too.
Blizzard need to put those listed things back to how they were, (except the interface, which is better now) - for the next expansion, else lose a great deal of players from “retail” WoW.
Except it is not free, we all paid for it.
