I thought you said they'd be rare?

  • Please remove the Amethyst Spireshell -

I’ve been hunting for this awhile now due to the fact that Deepglider and Amethyst Spireshell are not spawning.
Yesterday Deepglider did spawn after a whole evening of killing Bloated sky rays, if this did the trick I cannot guarantee because it spawned after I stopped killing them.

But my problem here is the Amethyst spireshell, people on wowhead say " just kill all the other spireshell on a location and the Mucks and it will spawn soon enough", well not on Runetotem that is :slight_smile:
I’m killing those beast all the time on different locations and havent seen it at all. Also been in different Naz rare hunting groups, it didnt spawn ones…sigh

So I appreciate some feedback, spawn points, other helpfull tips are welcome :slight_smile:

**edit -> Okey, the story so far…I’ve been looking at all the spawns points, killing critters and shells and mucks, asking others everyday…nothing…
Or my luck is that very very bad or pls Blizzard help me with this…:frowning:

**edit -> So yesterday…I killed all the mucks and snails in the cave where the Cavern dark terror spawns…nothing yet so lets check more spawn points…I come back to Wow, …I see him, YES the Spireshell has spawned in the cave…I go there fast , running towards the star that indicates he is still alive…when I get there the star dissapears and his corpse is on the ground…I dont see anyone but I’m too late…I can cry a little now…:frowning: :frowning:

Not gonna lie here, but sounds like you’ve some bad luck with spawns.
Personally killed the Amethyst Spireshell more times than I can count and found it bugged inside a rock even more than my kills.

Can’t help much with spawntimers, as heck I don’t even know them. Best you can do is hope to get a dead shard and do laps around the zone to see what rares are up or keep joining rare hunt groups, eventually you’ll get it.

Thank you Aldru for yor comment. Do you know the locations where you seen the spireshell? and yes I have a very RNG in this game :stuck_out_tongue: thats for sure.

I can’t remember every place I found it, but wowhead has a map showing spawns aaaaaaall over the zone https://www.wowhead.com/npc=152794/amethyst-spireshell
