I imagined it to be just a handful of players, the same faces everyday,

but no, i checked it out and there are players everywhere, the world is alive again, without corruption which has plagued wrath,

i was honestly one of the people wanting fresh, but there is no need,

goodbye wrath and hello era, a new adventure begins.

and i recommend more to do the same, wrath is not what we dreamed about, classic era is.

I love WotLK from a gameplay perspective, whether we are talking about PvP or PvE, yes even more than Era, but it saddens me greatly seeing it ravaged by:

  1. The community (gold buying, minmaxing, having no time to level, but constantly asking for JJ)
  2. Blizzard (Boosts, Turning a blind eye to the BOT situation)

Yea pvp cluster is rather vivid… pve cluster on the other side is still same barren, dont get be wrong it grows as well but for every 100 player pvp cluster gets we get roughly 1

Not just PvE either. Our little RP server could also use some new blood in terms of non-HC players. Classic offers RP opportunities that retail can only dream of, and it’s important to grow a healthy community on Hydraxian Waterlords that would engage in what should be the server’s bread and butter.

Ok my bad XP, but hey ppl out there dont forget pve realms too, if you hate the anti-progressive brainless world pvp drag perhaps you will enjoy a carefree pve world much more:D

I love the Azeroth, I dont care about old graphics, love the slow leveling, etc. but I just don’t find the gameplay satisfying as in Wrath. Every class just flow much better, many coold and good spells, more classes viable, pvp is better a lot, especially reward system.
More battlegrounds. I don’t care about arenas btw.

Also, I must admit that I don’t have time anymore for playing the game :/. Only thing I can do is make a twink lvl 79 in wrath or smth and play that way or maybe do some world pvp as a twink.

I will give it a chance probably again. Will play the mage cuz I found gameplay the most fun in the vanilla wow. Also cuz I don’t have time to waste, I will choose PVE server and probably Alliance…

If you do not have time, then Era is exactly what you are looking for. Here you don’t need to adjust to phases or metas. You can play whenever you want.

If Wotlk is your favorite expansion though, work towards getting a Wotlk Era server. If you Wotlk players do not express this wish, the same may happen as it did with TBC.

Maybe it is for me, I love the lore and slow pace but as I said, don’t like the gameplay and lack of spells on many classes and fast mana spending compared to WOTLK which I used to playing for many years before. In TBC it was better but WOTLK is just perfect for me.

Still I will try to level a bit, too bad some dps classes that are fun to play are not viable in classic pve.

I was amazed too… started leveling a character and I found the world to be extremely populated. Staring area was full of players.
Love classic wow. WOTLK has turned into a botfest / GDKP / Gearscore tragedy. Era is my new home from now.

What I heard, I guess private servers did a better job with bots, gdkp and gearscore… Sad.

I’ve been playing on Hydraxian as a non HC. I always enjoy RP servers more due to the better immersion and more casual atmosphere. Lots of people levelling although I imagine they are mostly HC players.

Just wanted to reply as there are some of us, I’m Zakaz on the Horde side! I’m hoping to see more non HC players in the coming weeks.

Which realm would you recommend me to play at Era? I don’t really care if it’s pvp or pve.
