I’ve got 3 charas I play. All have 55 neck, rank 2/3 essences and 420-430 ilevel. It’s only 2 week into 8.2 and i’m set for the next 6 months lol. It’s time consuming (4 hours a day for 2 weeks), but more then doable.
I made an entire post on this.
It took me less than 11 hours to get a fresh 120 hunter’s gear up to 404 and necklace level 49.
Without doing any raiding or mythic+.
It’s possible, you just don’t want to put in the effort.
So if i get exalted on one character i can buy the essence ranks on my alt?
I was thinking this too. For me an alt is an alternative, a break from the pressures of my main. If I’m aiming to bis them, then they’re probably becoming a new main surely.
Sub optimal essences and rank 2s are fine in alts. They allow you to perform in mythic just fine. I mean by the sounds of things here people want 15 characters all capable of doing heroic raiding and mythic 20+ and I’m sorry to say but of course that will require significant time investment.
With regards to getting alts ready to rock and roll at entry mythic and raid finder, this patch is very generous.
