as the title says i want to talk about two spells: power word shield and ice barrier, to make it quick i think they are way to spell-coefficient, say that because it is not uncommon for me to hit for more then 2k into a mage shield and it still is up or even ready to be casted again, haveing said that, for example a full reckbomb wich even hits a prot warrior for almost 3k gets into the ice barrier or pw shield without realy hitting the targets at all, what do you guys think, is it bugged, does it get to much spellpower? please let me know

Maybe respec holy instead of playing useless spec. Play to your class strength and you will find other classes to be way less op
2k into an ice barrier? Sure…
You may get close to 1.5k with ice barrier and mana shield with pvp gloves equipped, but there is no way a single ice barrier is absorbing anything close to that.
Nerfing ice barrier is an utter waste of time, as it shields a static amount. It’s going to get outscaled very quickly when people start getting BWL and AQ gear.
It scales with 10% of spellpower
I thought the amount was static.
Still, 10% of spellpower is next to nothing and it’s going to get outscaled.
Haven’t met an ice barrier I can’t hamstring->rend->auto-hit my way through yet.
Better gear will just make it easier.
