If Classic is started with 1.12 vanilla patch, how could you expect 1.0 AV?

Same thing was with MC cries of being too easy.

Finally someone with common sense.

Then where is the rest of Vanilla 1.12…BWL etc.

Why do meeting stones not work?

Why was there no honour system?

Why could they mock classic by implementing an old style AV into retail, whilst saying…no to classic.

Classics goals should be to take the “best” bits of the vanilla experience and reproduce them, not just hand out 1.12. Its design goals were to bring in the elements that drove natural community and avoid elements that undermined that, LFG is a good example…

So it has nothing to do with it being 1.12, that is just the code base they could grab.

x-realm queues, city battlemasters porting the players did not need to be enabled…especially at BG launch, if ever.

another delusionalist. Classic is just advertise for retail. nothing else.

This is reward driven AV. When people get their rank 10-14 and exalted rep, AV might become that AV you want.

nope, then just the next ranker generation comes in. 1.12 AV is never going to path the 2 hours mark.
Its designed to be fast and a rush game.

Blizzard have used 1.12 mechanics when it suits them, and not when it doesn’t. Look around, all this stuff wasn’t in 1.12, so stop talking nonsense.

Who said we expected anything but 1.12? We expected to be disappointed and we were disappointed. You’re not clever in thinking you “got us” by stating that we knew this was the broken version we would get. Everyone who cared told Blizzard as much back then.

Exactly this is what they wanted and this is what they got. This idiots should be happy that they even got classic in the first place.

This,
Why do the mounts cost 800g instead of the training? Why didnt we have keyring until now? Why are some loot tables altered between phases?

Private servers had old AV even in 1.12 because they wanted to create best possible experience for players.

They work exactly as they did in 1.12, as meeting stones.

Maybe you are more of a TBC fan? Maybe you should not trust your own memory so much?

Well, cant speak for myself, since I dont do AV, but my whole guild is pretty satisfied with AV as it is. That “we” argument probably dont stand.

Becouse classic is based on 1.12. The mount price change was implemented in patch 1.12.1

Yeah then tell me why we are using 1.10 Riding Skills, 1.10 Drop Rate and Loot Tables and 1.4 Honor Diminishing Returns so far?

And tell me why we could not ask for it when Brack said this in the Forbes Interview:

"If you think about—there were two years in between the launch of World of Warcraft and the release of [the expansion] Burning Crusade. A lot of things changed in there. What should we shoot for?

My favorite example for this is Upper Blackrock Spire. There was a 10-person version and a five-person version for most of that two-year period, but toward the end we decided, nope, UBRS is going to be a five-person and we’re going to retune it to be appropriate for that. Is that the right decision? I don’t know. These are the types of questions. There’s lots of questions like that that we’ll be talking with the community about."

Where is Naxxramas if we are in 1.12 ?

Active subs trippled since classic, not sure who should be happy here.

You sure? iirc it was in late vanilla they changed it so that the riding skill became the expensive part and removed the faction based riding skills such as undead horsemanship, wolf riding etc. Riding skill became a secondary profession in 1.12.

But now we are witnessing a cost structure of mounts that was seen before patch 1.12.

I think you are the one confusing meeting stones with summoning stones.
Meeting stones dont work at all in classic as they did in 1.6 all the way until 1.12, meeting stones served as a LFG system, since nobody used them they became summoning stones in pre-tbc patch mid december 2006.

Alll those clueless people with “LOL this is 1.12. You wanted it, you got it” pullcrap. This is not (!!!) 1.12 AV. Even in that watered down version it was not possible to pull single Marshals. They were all linked together and reseted when you tryed to pull em out. Not to mention the buffs they got when towers were still up. Thats why it was at least necessary to destroy the towers.
Not to mention that Classic is based on 1.12 doesnt mean that you have to pick all those bad mechanics Bliizard already impelemented back then. There is a reason why a lot of old veterans calling 1.12 the beginning of the Wow Vanilla abasement
