If Hunters don't scale well in terms of DPS in late raid and PvE content why are they perceived as one of the best in PvP?

Yeah, it doesn’t matter how geared you are as a warrior - a naked mage can still 1v1 you easily.

They are not perceived as one of best in PVP.
Classic hunter is bad after BWL. Bad in PVE and bad in PVP. Deadzone means u will never break distance with rogue if rogue already opened on you. In battlegrounds ur just average ranged class that doesnt bring any utility apart viper sting, that gets insta dispelled.

Only in late TBC blizzard started to care about hunters and made really needed changes in 3rd season of TBC. And made hunter OP in WOTLK :d

all guides and youtube videos i read said the opposite. if you know how to play them, they don’t even have a counter class.

Then look for videos of POM pyro mages.
Lowskill player guides and videos arent any good bro.
Theres no chance to break distance from any rogue that already opened

  1. U wont stun rogue, cuz of evasion
  2. Even if u will -> trinket? (ok no trinket), u wont get away far with -70% slow, and rogue will catch up with sprint.
    Btw, BM spec isnt really viable, apart leveling.

nah, pvp build is 0/31/20 or 0/21/30 with scattershot instead of wyvern sting.

PvP is control and burst dmg. Hunters have it.

Ofcourse rogue will use frost reflector instead of average trinket, vs hunter. Geez dont act like u know much, ur limit is 2k rate 4ever (1700 if we talk about BC ^^).

And like I said, FD+trap DOESNT work.
