Well he claims normal raiding is hard so yes i did and it makes me seriously question if he actually earned any of this or if he just got boosted. Besides he only has one Raid kill more on HC but lacks raszageth on normal in return which i have, while his M+ are barely that mutch better and has more to do with a lack of trying on my term skipping like 2 weeks already where i didn’t do anything in M+. Besides playing hunter and complaining about raszageth while beeing able to ignore half of her mechanics makes me question it even more.
For someone that was raid leading pugs for 3 weeks, Rasza is not hard if you’re geared enough to not die on Static. It is the only thing that makes it difficult because people try to join it undergeated and basically are oneshot by the mechanic or they stack it with someone else and then complain about dps being too low.
Funny enough however I think the easiest fight is Diurna.
Who thinks it is hard? I think the general consensus is that it’s actually not very difficult… especially considering how easy it is to over gear it too. There were DPS/Healer gear checks in the first couple of weeks, but since then… ?
wow needs more encounters like Patchwerk and less like Thadius
100% correct OP.
Do LFR if you can’t be bothered looking up a nice guild and putting some energy into your gaming. Don’t ruin the game for the rest of us.
If you look at the average player, they will never even complete a single normal raid, if even LFR, so yes i consider WoW Raiding too hard compared to other games.
Council is easier I think
Technically LFR, normal and heroic are the same. Just some healthpool difference and some bosses gain a extra ability on heroic (not even all of the bosses).
Fail a boss mechanic and it’s a instant death. No matter which mode. That was different in the old days. Then you could survive the abilities with some smart defensives. So yes, the raids are to hard now.
And the WoW community is toxic like hell. You need 390 ilvl for 389 Loot nowadays and have the bosses killed before being able to join.
I remember the thread and the majority of the people commenting were agreeing with the sentiment, that vault on normal even, is too hard. Obviously a thread like that will attract people with that bias, but still.
Normal Rasz is an absolute cakewalk though. I did it in a blind pug and we killed it after 5 pulls or so. I am yet to kill her on HC but hopefully will soon but I dont think she is overly hard there either from a personal perspective. The difficult part of wow raiding has always been and will always be having the entire group perform well
If someone is unable to do raz on normal it’s because they don’t have the patience/will power you need to pug it and deal with leavers ect, not because it is too hard. The fights on normal are easy.
Make your own group, people will throw themselves at you to join.
I started playing basically in dragonflight and gotta say, raid is a joke in terms of difficulty. I don’t understand why players complain it’s hard when even someone who doesn’t play the game they do for years think it’s easy. I think it’s just the wow community growing older, dudes got an extra 300 ping from hands to brain
It is true, I checked the LFG list while our leader had queued us for replacements and they had so many choices unless they wanted a very particular class like DKs for heroic Dathia.
Personally the reason I do not lead my own raids is cause I believe that a leader needs to also be able to explain to everyone else what they need to do for their roles if required. I just know what to do for my own roles.
As well at to know how many dps one needs per healer
Make your own group, people will throw themselves at you to join.
Lots of people are afraid to lead
Not that the “leader” actually leads the raid or anything, sure you can put down a few markers, explain the tactics and generally is up to you to invite poeple who will not be a “burden”
But when you make a group and advert it as “Chill run, relaxed run, run to Learn” none of the above matters
It up to the Tanks anyway when and what they pull and no power on Earth could stop them to do what they want
A lot of players lack the knowledge of what actually goes on in the raids beyond their own role.
itis easy to raid if ur a warlock ur tanky and got heals cant say same about a hunter …
My only real problem with raids is that there use to be too many steps for you to go for before you even start raiding. I agree raids are meant to be hard people forget is the hardest content in the game and deserves some scaling.
Click on death message that appears in chat, check what killed you, open adventure journal, check for ability with the same name, read description. Not really that hard to figure out where you messed up or how you died.
For most people trying to get into it, scrolling through a bunch of text doesn’t help a lot.
Better have a boss fight with clear to read mechanics to start with so you can learn while playing.
Like a teacher I had always said: “Listening to good music isn’t the same as making good music”
