Came from work,went to check WoWHead,was amazed by that pretty much click baity title and just couldnt stop laughing like crazy reading the comments on forums/reddit.The amount of illiterate people or just intentionally malicious is mindblowing.
“Next Gen Xbox” is literally PC with extra steps,as someone already said “So it’s a console without the benefits of a console (price, exclusives, physical games) and a PC without the benefits of a PC (raw power, customizability, upgradability).”
Looking forward to class pruning/debloat,and actually people playing the game instead of addons telling them what to do.Those who wanna quit over this,there isnt many of you,not a big deal.

Addons are showing us the available information in a cleaner and simpler way, because the Blizzard UI is horrible in TWW. Midnight will change that.

Most of combat addons used in raids,arenas,m+ ? dont act like its not a thing.Yep midnight is changing that and im looking forward to this.

PvP is by far harder than any pve content,like by a mile,i dont even know how is this an argument lol.Im about to push 3,3k while never took m+ seriously because “i cant be bothered” as well,with literally 0 combat addons and pretty much default UI.
3,3 is like top 2%,the vast majority of the players never get this,i can get it without a single addon,the point is that im not that good,they’re just drama queens.
I covered this in the other thread. Microsoft long ago said that their new "console was going to be a hybrid of console and pc, leaning more towards “PC” because Microsoft gave up on the “console war” long ago because they finally realised they can’t compete with SONY and Nintendo.
It only took them until halfway through the lifecycle of the 360 to realise that the main console market (Japan) doesn’t care about Xbox and cares even less about PC gaming as a whole, so this is a long time coming. Microsoft has for a long time tried to get X Box away from “pure console”, it’s why we have things like Game Pass and Play Anywhere systems they brought in that allow cross platform broad support.
However. The PC master race once again gettings it’s collective knickers in a twist and wailing “OH WOW IS DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!” will never cease to be hilarious.
For this is the same “master race” who confidently predicted the death of Doom and FPS shooters when it came to console, (it didn’t). The death of RTS games when it came to consoles. (It didn’t) The death of simulators when it came to consoles (it didnt) and the death of Dungeons and Dragons when it came to console (it didnt)
WoW (MMO) isn’t going to die either should it appear on the new hybrid.
And as I said earlier. The top end xbox handheld costs 800 quid.
The new “console” will cost significantly more.

Because a lot of people are inept of reading anything other than the title before crying their eyes out. That being said, IF by chance WoW does become playable on console, I still see 0 problems. People are already able to play on controllers.
