Tubri – aggressively transphobic, afraid of black people on the train, discussed his forum arguments with his mother and girlfriend, and wished physical harm on his detractors. We’ve never had a forum villain of his quality since.
Ah. Basically a combination of the best qualities of the finest people on AD, I see.
I’m kind of glad, when I think about it, that most of the people around here may be problematic, but never reached these levels of harmfulness.
Referring to some random black person on a train as a nigerian prince was truly one of the moments of all time.
I liked it when he’d use Family Guy clips to illustrate his points.
Same with Arabs on the plane. I just say im italian and it works 90% of the time. unless they ask me to speak it
Nobody respond to Quillestra’s next post challenge…
I 'member when he argued dim tool was a reasonable centrist news source, likewise some angry gamer.
I am praying.

I am not always aggressive. The two (and a half) topics I appeared angry in were the ones where very controversial and volatile topics were discussed. Essentially the first one was the “Help, I’m Undead” thread where we were arguing about how players should treat Undead players and whether it is right to assign cliche roles to someone without knowing them. It featured the San’layn debate and the High Elves, hence why I couldn’t miss this thread when it appeared and heavily resonated within me.

What do you mean I am not invested? I made sure to make quite a thorough research on everything I stand for, including the San’layn, the Undead and the HE. I often try to provide evidence, but people tend to ignore it or claim it is not enough.

I am F, 25.

Speaking of High Elves, the problem was not that people aren’t allowed to play them but the way they are perceived and played, what appears to be a tabboo topic subject here. They are supposed to be such a rare minority, and their history is kinda problematic, too, including the Purge of Dalaran and the strained relationship with both the Horde and the Alliance (to a lesser extent, but still). But people give HE players all the creative freedom that can have, while striping Undead players of it.
One guy suggested making a whole city(!) for a race that is supposed to be veeeery rare. And not a frequent sight in the Alliance, too. I checked SW the other day, and oh boy is it absolutely flooded with High Elves. They’re everywhere, in every corner, every street. But the way people RP them seems to be veeery headcanon. But at the same time Darkfallen can’t do the same, huh? Kinda strange to me, so I am trying to expose people’s logic here and the true motivation behind their reasoning.
If you allow High Elf players to do whatever they want just because the Alliance is more populated and this race is very cute and satisfies your aesthetic taste, then say it out loud. No need to try to use “lore” to justify it. But that’s what’s happening.
That will not work. In the previous thread I myself proposed such a challenge and it was failed. So so failed. So yeah, it won’t work, unfortunately.
My frontal lobe is itching.
I too, am concerned; regarding the amount of High Elves.
(Just play Forsaken it is better).
there’s something deeply wrong with you if you’re trying to argue in favour of letting people prey on children in a video game through the medium of whataboutism.
The minor doesn’t usually witness ERP passively, they are actively groomed and coerced into doing something they don’t fully understand, and it’s not hypothetical at all.
Even taking out the arguement about minors effectively being abused (don’t tell me you ‘check ages before you erp’ because that’s bs and there’s no way to be 100% sure) all you have to do is look at all the stalker threads on the forum and oh golly gee batman, they’re all stemming from erp…
Funny how it was acknowledged in the game that Forsaken’s population was withering and there was a chance this faction could disappear… That was before Sylvanas’ solution with Val’kyr. Kinda fitting our topic with population numbers But High Elves were never said to multiply at such a great rate to achieve solid numbers, if I’m not mistaken.
Give me a less hunched option, then we’ll talk.

don’t be a weakling
Dark ranger?
I don’t want to be a weakling, so give me a stronger spine.
Though Forsaken apearence wise have grown on me, and now I can wear my gas mask freely
Standard human Forsaken. If the guards in Dazar’alor can have straight backs, I want one too.
Those guards are just rigged with the stiff guard pose. On one hand, it’s just a generic animation, on the other it proves the forsaken model can be straightened without the awkward spine realignment of orc men.
