It got brought back in WoD through Khadgar’s incantations, canonising latin/faux latin as a spellcasting language since parts of Khadgar’s incantation was Literal Latin and other parts made up Faux Latin. Then there was the whole Latin chant in O Thanagor and Call to Arms.
Day of the Dragon also describes one incantation sounding as reverse speech if you want to Zatanna your spells too!
going by the fact danuser couldn’t help himself and shoved in shadowlands down our throats in df (you have to visit the fearie hellhole for what has to be one of the most stupid questlines i have seen in this game), i wouldn’t count on it. the guy has completely lost the plot and will never manage to be self-critical about his writing
Thank you for literally confirming what I said earlier. Also I’m flattered. Blizzard lets you out of your cage and the first thing you do is come crawling back for another beating from the Mon. Don’t worry, I won’t kink shame you for being a masochist.
Lady Iceheart best character. She broke my heart and I don’t even like that game.
Look man there are limits, while I agree that night elves should’ve been horde or basically anything except alliance to stop them from getting defanged as they did, dwarves at least sort of fit into the alliance. Plus we already have two midget races we’re full
High Elves are too many → What is the difference between approving of HE and disapproving of the (former) San’layn/(vampiric) Darkfallen etc. → It’d be cool to have actual vampire classes/abilities → It’d be cool to add more class/colour/spec variations → Vulperas are cool → Some players got bad impressions from certain Vulpera players → Is ERP normal and to what extent can a person share their 18+ humour, with who and where → Should all ERP (public, hidden, consensual etc.) be prohibited in WoW and can a person’s dark humour hurt the reputation of their entire community
As someone with a lovely Void elf warlock, I do love them to some extent. But it can get boring over time. Especially when you have to focus on black and purple clothing.
You meet a Draenei and a 1000 paladins in stormwind and the conversations just get weird.
My point is, it’s fun for a while to be gothy and edgy and whatever. But with time it gets really boring. Just my experience. Ironically I was a goth in my teen years and got out of that phase so that might be it.
This is a point unfortunately most horde fans ignore. Some High elf fans were toxic, but some anti Helfers were also extremely toxic. Bullying people on the forums and in-game over requesting a hair color. Both sides have their ups and downs and I think we can All agree the Helf debate is one of the most toxic in the forums before void elves got their customizations. It brought out the worst in people on both sides of the argument
