so your saying any random players that come there and skin the shared corpses in the zone are doing something against the rules?
cmon…
so why did they make skinning from personal loot to shared for everyone in the game .
even horde and alliance can take the leathers from another player kills
I have no words about it and it is all about to abuse report system. It is UNBELIEVABLE!
what kind of abuse?
and if you want my honest opinion the day that share skinning started i knew this decision will cause so much trouble.
in my personal opinion its not even Rational even in a fantasy game
Also abuse to report system! I forgot to add report!
Gordon: A hero. Not the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed.
I said everything that was needed. but i need to add this too
In my opinion, a player should not lose their account because of the way the game works or game updates.
1 : For example why should i or those people who are mass reporting everyone be able to summon level 20 + characters in isle of dorn to go in all of realms with it?
(some of them even do this with trail characters)
2 : why should these people that are mass reporting other players like me that are playing based on blizzard rules WHEN they use a bug that makes their character 639 in one day?> why they dont get banned for this exploit?
3: one of them whispered me we don’t accept the rule of shared skinning and i love to report you.
WHEN THEY MASS REPORT OTHER PLAYERS FOR FUN?
does Blizzard ever ask them ok we read your report about that babadonda but can you tell me your why are you farming for 19 hours in row now. is this acount shared by someone???.
i played this game for 14 years. even had corrupted ashbringer in
wotlk and i can get banned and lose everything by the mass report of gold sellers with bought accounts. (15 days ago a ban wave cleaned almost all of them and there was no skinning premade groups for 6 days.
Had did you do that?
You are totally right in this, i dont think a single person would say its a unreasonable expectation.
But if its true that you did do some sort of disruptive behaviour that made it harder for players play the game you deserv at least a couple days ban. (Even if was bots, unless you have proof they are bot. Then i would even support disrupting thier action)
Blizzard bans bots in waves. That is and will always be the only useful way of dealing with bots.
But it’s a war no company can win. For every bot that get’s banned a bunch of new ones emerge. Always was like this in any game and always will be like that as long as people can make real life money with it.
yes your right.
but im sure almost all of them were not bots. just gold farmers.
my big question is this :
is blizzard working with law and their Terms of service or morals?
if its based on Terms of service none of my activities were wrong only my funny chats
i didn’t even insult any players there but i guess they have been thinking this dude is trolling. (thanks to this post and players here i found out why i got banned)
and it was a misunderstanding.
2: if blizzard is working on morals . then they should be asked . when you make a content or desicion do you ever think about the Negative behaviors or abuses that can occur from your players?
when they made share skinning in the game (in shadowlands) i was doing the same as i did now.
im just asking them do they think that this may create conflict between the players like me and those gold farmers ever?
I mean when you can go steal leather and move in every realms with the characters that are not even level maxed or even are trail characters. AND YOUR GETTING MORE LEATHER FROM STEALING THAN CREATING A LEATHER FARMING GROUP. then why should someone gets banned? or even go and join these groups and break their fingers for killing elite npcs? (i even made my DH almost 620 ) (with pve not pvp bug and exploit so i can join)
didn’t they think someone like me will do it?
Hey listen uh, dont be the hero
You’re too small to make an impact
end of discussion
In this picture, a hunter came there to do a mission. These people are saying you are bothering us.
Imagine a player came to do his job and didn’t do anything to these people and they say you are bothering us.
And the same people that are saying that to other players are reporting players like me for using a tool that is part of the game.
It’s ridiculous

i was there in prowl look
That screenshot looks like they’re asking you to stop. Have you considered that? This whole thread is very odd, you seem like you’re trying to find ways to abuse other players without recourse.
You could try reading the social contract, that might help you to understand the ban
they are talking to that hunter not me.
i see players that ignore and block them as soon as they say this things to people
im very polite there and i have 2 characters with skinning knowledge to join them as soon as i find groups.
and even in social contract its not saying you have right to insult and tell others dont skin the corpses on the ground that are free for horde and alliance and everyone that comes there to not to skin.
If someone asks you to stop skinning the mobs that they kill, it might be an idea to stop. Be honest with yourself here, if the same thing was done to you, how would it make you feel?
If you truly are scared, as you say, you need to stop messing with people. No one cares about the fact that you CAN skin things, we all know you CAN. SHOULD you be doing it?
Wow is a pretty open game, there are a lot of ways to disrupt people’s game using the so-called tools provided. The social contract outlines a loose framework of morality, read it again with that in mind.
This has come up a few times now in this thread.
Not siding with OP, don’t know what and why got him disciplinated and I don’t really care.
Only thing I wonder is: Aren’t mobs skinnable by EVERYONE? You kill a mob, skin it, leave, another player comes around in a specific timeframe, like with herbs and ores, and can skin then, too? And if you kill a mob, someone else skins it first, shouldn’t you still be able to skin it?
Maybe they changed it but the mob used to disappear when it was skinned
I think that used to be some time ago
It seems like they introduced multiple skins in patch 9.1, interesting. It looked like you just have to tag it, I guess in a 5 man group the tag gets closed as usual. Not sure how the OP managed this lol
its shared for every single player in the area out or in the group.
and it has a cd too.
its free for all.
it has the limit of 8 players per one npc.
and now i ask you something.
if this is against the rules then why blizzard puts a world quest there with the same wolf and bees to fill up 100% every 2 weeks?
should these leather farming groups keep telling people dont skin the corpses in this area?
would they say dont bother us to groups of alliance players when they come and kill them in wm on?
we have something named world pvp and another thing named Competition
as i said in the middle of this post they dont accept the TOs at all.
they say we dont accept the share skinning rules at all.
they think this is players assets . they dont know that players are there to use these things based on the tos.
