Even if u do that you wouldn’t be able to get the last rod because you would need alchemy for the arcanite transmute.
So to level enchanting all the way up you would have to level up herb/alch, then drop herb and level mining, then do your arcanite transmutes, then drop alch and level BS until you can make your arcanite rod aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand finally drop BS for enchanting.
What a nightmare.
I wonder if some nutjob out there has done this already.
World first HC TF got quickly enchanted with Crusader. Also “self-found” is not the only HC mode available, so others play it differently with trade and groups.
The restrictions are the reasons i’ve always had no interest in HC. Like, trading, grouping and such are all part of the MMORPG experience where as this community version of Classic Hardcore turns the game single player.
Though glad Blizzard isn’t putting such restrictions on their official servers, it just ruins the game to some extent.
Adrenaline, the rush…or whatever., knowing you only have 1 life, the sense of danger, makes you more aware, take less risks, etc. Gives you a run for your money in a lot of cases. And with each character death, all that intensifies.
Not my thing either. At times people can die from bugs/glitches or just disconnects and have to start over…it’s stupid in a way, but i can understand it.
Precisely why regular classic is better imo, with no such rules.
I don’t mind the community aspect of the game in regards to the game world as whole, but generally i’m a solo player…like in real life really, a loner. It’s how i enjoy things the most, only grouping up out of necessity when needed.
It matters not to me how long it takes to level, end-game is not the goal for me, it’s the reason Retail is so incredibly dull and pointless to me - it’s completely lacking everything that makes a game an RPG and focuses solely on a single aspect.
