not really rewarding when theres barely any rewards to get
ive got them all within 1 day
ideally there should be WAY more rewards
recolours are so lazy

People intentionally lag themselves to make it very difficult to melee them when they’re rubberbanding all over the place.
To me, it’s very similar.
My son plays it religiously.
I’m always buying him battle passes.
I don’t understand why he likes that game so much!
Haven’t experienced it and I figured with how much I play I would have, sometimes people lag but it doesn’t really cause the problems I keep hearing it causes others.
Would love to know how you “intentionally” lag yourself ?
I have nothing original to add so I’ll just comment on this.
so for number 3 my main reason is that wow or warcraft used to be dark -bloody and childish and fun .
im trying to say it was a mix of everything but now days its just light fun things .
some kind of toxic positivity in everything.
its like the war part of this game is going less and less everyday.
instead of that plunder storm they could put that energy and time and money to bring a small zone. with some items with more item level and giving us mounts and some forms and glyph for spells and druid forms. or something that you can see in the original game i mean. wow
all of this is false
I get what you mean by that and yes, WoW has gone very child friendly but I think for this specific mode, the main issues with WoW story telling are separate. Aren’t most, if not all, battle royal modes just light-hearted fun?
so in my opinion this same plunder storm could be sooo fun if it was like this look:
imagine there 2 teams on that island that each one that get to the castle full of gold in the middle of the island will be defender and the second team that couldnt stop the first team is attacker now then in round 2 the first team attacks the second team and if the manage to destroy the castle on the first team with warships then they win the game their characters gets some gold with some glyphs or rare items that they can use on their main characters in wow . and the animation of fights and derstruction of that castle is brutall.
if it was like this everyone would love it. even light hearted would play it.
like mixing a bg and battle royal with the rewards for your main characters
You are describing strand of the ancients.
yes almost like that bg.
but it like in the round 2 the defenders cant come out only uses canons and the attacker with the war ships
Clog up your bandwidth streaming a bunch of stuff… not hard to do.
Only 4420 plunder left, I’m unlocking my the last fomo cosmetic crocodile mount and leaving the mode. I think long time rogue and hunter class players have huge advantage in this mode, I find it a bit unfair. Next time I would like to see a Magicstorm event based on caster classes.
…? Why exactly?
Now that the pressure of renown is gone I find myself actually enjoying playing a few matches while waiting for my M+ group to come online. It’s nice as a filler.
They are used to play style. Hooks, traps and such. If you are not used to melee, it is harder to adapt. At least it feels like that for me, agree or not.
This second version of of plunderstorm is several times better than the first version:
1)choice of spawn point
2)Respawning mobs for easier plunder grind
3)Larger variety of abilities
4)Shop instead of a renown grind
5) You can get the old stuff too, so it is not true FOMO anymore
I managed to win twice, one of the two times out of accident after everyone else got trapped by the storm.
This version of Plunderstorm should either become permanent or become a recurring event about 2-4 times a year
I didn’t try it the first time but I thought I’d give it a go today. It’s pretty fun- It’s not something I’d do for a long time but not bad for something of a mini-game for a few weeks.
It’s really fast to get currency too. Even if you don’t like the game you can just complete one quest, drop out and reque.
I already have both this years and last years mog sets and some weapons too. I don’t get why everyone’s complaining that it’s a “Massive grind”?
