and that’s why any advertising of such places should be banned. instead the forum mods allow them to advertise it under the guise of whatever they think is ok.
there are official forums and in-game communities for such things-gatherings. 3rd party ads should be banned

I hope this part is untrue, but if it isn’t then I hope this person left.
I will make this clear, I have no issue with FF or any other community, we all have a choice to join a community or not, it’s entirely up to each individual. If you choose not to join any communities, it should have no effect whatsoever on how or when you post on the forum, as long as you follow the CoC.
What I always have an issue with is bullying on the forums, regardless of who is on the receiving end. I just hope that others will flag such posts when they see them and hopefully the forums will be a nicer place for all.

As someone who brought SoD up, I don’t say either runs one or the other or necesarily are bad places (I’ve had some mostly positive experiences when I was in SoD) so people trying to make one or the other out to be a bad guy needs to grow up.
Drama, bullying et al will always appear in online (and offline) communities, as humans are sometimes kind of awful.

well… “bullying” can have many definitions and varies from person to person but to me it seemed like he got unnecessary dirt thrown his way almost everytime he spoke when others did not
wether people meant to offend him or not is unclear but im sure the people involved either regret or dont care at this point but he didnt leave without a reason

And for everyone, this was the posting which lead to the current problem:
I found the name on the US-forums in a post (which has been apparently been deleted by now) where he confirmed that he is the user here on the EU-forums. So much to the stalking. You can find other posts from him there, I used the search for getting the the original post but as I said, it’s gone by now. No stalking involved. And as it turns out, he has also wrote several times about this in another topics provided in the link, especially the helf-topic (and how some of you know I have been taken an interest in it)

So, what actually did happen? He took it as harassment and a threat while I have been actually referring to the “Pandas” in the original post, that he should stay classy with referring to the both Pandas (which includes me). The whole situation blew out of their proportions.

My decision is still final and I want stay true to my words. It’s quite stupid for me to post another post here after I proclaim to come never back but it has been a wild ride today with +8 people getting in touch with me.
And for everyone concerned: No, I did not spill the beans on what bothered me the most. This is up to everyone’s imagination. Mclovin didn’t bother me at all (expect that he ruined my yesterday’s Pathfinder round).
And leave the SoD-stuff out of here. This has nothing to do with the guild.

I know it’s a lot to ask after what happened, but can you please confirm that you weren’t banned because of your issue with Mclovin? You would do me a huge favour, although, I would understand if you don’t want to.

I still say you are not really thinking this through Leafkettle, I know you are probably upset with what has happened, but why not take a time out? Give yourself some space to think and maybe return to the forums in a week or so?
What I am trying to say is don’t cut all ties to the forums because of one instance where you or your protagonist or even both of you may have been wrong in some respects and things just got heated. Things always look different given some time away
