May I know what realm you are on and what country (US, EU, Asia?) so I can avoid your realm.
Also, ironically I didn’t encounter any boosting problems yet.

I don’t believe you. People advertise this crap for millions of gold.
Find a guild is the obvious 1st answer here, WoW pugging has been a sub par experience for… ever…
All else failing, if you do not want to get into a guild for various reasons just… Start your own group? You barely need to RL in pugs anyway.
In not hard to pug normal or heroic every week there is more loot and ilvl is going up meaby this try to do 6/10 next week 8/10
Yes I believe this is not a solo game.
Ah the helpfulness of the WOW community. Play a tank - not everyone likes to play tanks, the grief they get is ridiculous in pugs. Play a healer - see previous.
It really isn’t a solo game if you want to do end content such as raids and mythic+ you do need a guild or friends. You could make your own pug, just be prepared for ppl leaving, messing up etc. Or make friends specifically for end content. Make it clear toxic, elitist wannabe’s need not apply.
You could join Discord, there are a few guilds that offer carries for achievements (names escape me sorry) or go to Facebook. There are groups on there for EU that you could join and ask in there. You don’t need to pay for boosts, they spoil the game.
You can totally make your own raid, list it in the raid finder and get your dpss and tanks and with the situation being what it is, you can get it going in around 20 minutes.
What you’ll find fairly quickly though is why people are being so picky about the DPS they invite.
What you’ll also discover is that endgame is not really viable without a guild. I know there’s people in denial who disagree with this statement, but they’re simply wrong.
I always have a main healer for pugging.
Been my priest for the last 2 expansions, but been favouring my Shammy in SL
I Also don’t start pugging until I’ve ran it through LFR sever times over.
I know there are differences but it gives me a much better idea of what to expect
No? don’t lie all tanks are capable and very well balanced and for raid you can literally play whatever tank you want cause it’s just normal/HC
Stagger is the best tank mechanic added into the game
Pugging raids has always been the worst way to play the game and a colossal waste of time. Not sure why this is still a revelation to people, it’s been sixteen years.
You want to raid properly, you go join a raiding guild. End of story.
Jesli z tymi trzema kolegami jestescie serio na tyle ogarnieci, zeby grac heroic, to na Silvermoon po stronie aliansu szukamy uzupelnienia do grupy rajdujacej.
Sounds like l2p issue to me .
This is an mmorpg and raids are group content either create your own or join a guild. This game is not a single player game don’t cry about the content you are unable to do cuz of your communication problems.
Btw i do really think they should change Tos to ban boosters.
the reason is simple - HC is hard. has been for last few tiers . especially so early in tier. and later bosses in hc sod are tuned with at least some people in raid having unholy bonus.
intead pugging you can come and progress with the guild im in after our died last tier we are only 6/10 hc with 2 % wipe on 7th boss so it can be to low for your liking
At its heart this remains a social game.
Make friends or sit in queue and whine…
I was mythic raider for few expansions, I know how to get in to guilds but:
Did you try to find a community or even make a community? Its cross server for normal and HC so you dont have to leave anyone behind, even better you can include someone in. You can even post LF like minded people for normal and hc raid during xzy times on community recruitment part of the forums.
p.s. pugging is really really really bad for normal and especially for hc. Normal you can even somehow manage, but HC should be a harder content and theres all kind of ppl quing. From the ones that got boosted and dont know a thing about mechanics or how to play their char in that particular fight to Echo/Limit wannabes that leave cause boss had to die on a 4:55 mark and not 5:10 and now his logs are crap. To ppl that wanna learn how to heal so they get in there with an alt knowing tactics and then end up pummelling the boss with their staff, ppl that just want a free gear, free boost whatnot … its messy
There are raiding communities?
yes
let me find a link
this is for community recruitment in general
heres the second thread for horde community raiding
thats just an example, just need to browse and find the one that suits you
One aspect of the Monk Tank discussion, I didn’t read anyone mentioning is BiS.
It seems from what OP described that his issue is clearly his character lacking somethings to be a viable BM tank.
Our characters are basically incomplete until you get your hands on certain items expansion related that makes your character much more viable.
That’s been a thing for a while now.
I noticed it started in BFA, but it could had been further.
I don’t play SL but I’m guessing in order to be a viable BM Tank, without getting 3 shot killed by a Raid boss as in the situation OP described you would probably need: the right covenant along side the right conduits, Legendaries etc.
Until than I doubt he can be viable, unless he’s being helped by other players to cover for the areas his character is lacking.
From what I gathered in BFA it was like that as well. Have the right Azerite talents, essences or you are with a incomplete character in your hands.
Monk Tank may be suffering of this issue far more than other classes.
Tbh I always found them squishy as hell.
As other posters mentioned, it was used on a high end Mithic raid.
But we are talking of high end game, with obviously a much more different type of Monk Tank build, that usually an average player wouldn’t be able to afford.
Because it’s time consuming and requires good players around you all the time.
It’s a much different ball game when people play on high end game.
Especially because they play as a professional team.
Cheers.
