Imagine a realm where all addons whatsoever would be disabled. Like you wouldn’t even get a chance to install one.

Yeah, it does sound very awful, and i would not want to play on one like that.
Imagine having to look up quests on wowhead instead of using Questie, imagine having to deal with the Classic AH UI instead of and AH addon, imagine having to look at each bag separately instead of bagnon.
Imagine not being able to customize your UI with bartender or other such addons.
Imagine having to deal with the Classic Vanilla map that is full screen always instead of an addon that let’s you resize/move it around
Imagine not using Postal or other mail addons.
Imagine having to find whoever needs cleanse in the Raid UI instead of Decursive.
Imagine having to click and buff each person individually instead of pally power.
Imagine never seeing your dps… which would pretty much negate the entire point of gearing up.
Just IMAGINE, Dude, the game would be awful :>

don’t need to imagine anything…I never played with addons…O wait I did play for 3 hours with addons in a raid back in TBC because I had to post a picture with my UI for the interview for a guild…Worst experience in my life.

Agree with Korikasai. I think the vanilla UI is basically broken to the point of non-usability. Especially the Auction, threat management and raid healing/decursing. Questing without Questie also, you basically have to play with wowhead on second screen (used to be thottbot, which was even less friendly).
This is a part of a broader topic where I’m convinced that if WoW Vanilla released today in a state it was in in 2004, it would be called an early access alpha test cash grab.
I don’t have any of those addons, and game is great.
This part is the most “facepalm”
And map has 3 sizes.

People are complaining Gnomer is too difficult with addons basically playing the game for them. Nobody would play on such a server.

I don’t think I could play with the standard interface, if you could customise that properly then I wouldn’t mind.
I dont understand, what addons are we talking about here that makes you think it would be better to remove?
How about just let people play with or without addons? They affect you in no way whatsoever.

It’s not their fault you’re horrible at the game, and people should be allowed to know that.
Why so angry? Are you mad you just realized you cant play the game without handholding raidalerts?
You can just play without addons. What impact does it have to you if other people are using addons?
It’s easier to avoid baddies such as yourself. I’m not mad, addons are here. OP seemed mad that people prefer addons over no addons. Reading is hard.
