I’m on Spineshatter pvp anniversary server, lvl 42. It’s literally, and I mean it, literally impossible to do quests like Indurium and Lesser Stone Elementals. It’s important quests with a big chain for the Study of the elements : stone quest. Respawn rate is abysmal, drop rate is abysmal, layers are maxed out. Mob population is also abysmal since there are very few elementals in the zone. Truly infuriating experience. Just wanted to share my feedback

Yeah I honestly don’t understand why they disabled hyperspawns for this when it was in every other version of classic. Especially when combined with massive layer and server populations. In all my previous levelling experiences in highly contested areas new mobs spawned as you were looting the previous one. Yet here we have 10 players sitting on a spawn and it goes through full 5 min respawn cycle.

i did it yesterday just fine. it’s a highly sought quest chain because of lots of exp and the nifty stopwatch, so it makes sense that it’s highly farmed. the lesser eles took me about 20 minutes max as a warlock (you can imagine my frustration without a way to insta tag) and yet i managed. the next parts of the quest were almost or completely uncontested.
as for the indurium flakes you can easily farm the elite troggs outside of the uldaman side entrance; they’re uncontested on every layer.

even on lvl 32. I cant lvl anymore, no mobs, no respawn, to many ppl on each layer. It was so good before. didnt even make any progress the last days. STV is painful

I see that Classic is quite a struggle for completely new players without the handholding that the Retail game provides, as they have no idea how to level.
all pservers before aswell as classic 2019 didnt have this bad rate. So better be quite if you are clueless like always

Such a strange comment, yes retail is easier for taggin…but not many will be used to this level of competition for mobs or have enough grey matter formation in their brains to sit in same place and fight with several other groups for every tag.

Anniversary is not Vanilla, Era is not Vanilla either. but SoD has its own forum, Cata has its own forum, why should Anniversary servers make do with less?

Almost same! Just look at the the name of this thread and many like it. Layers and Dual spec makes a huge difference.

Such a strange comment. I never asked for layers, I aint a mage and I did all the dungeons onces after collecting all the quests for it and can lvl fine without any problems.
L2p issues are high here.

No ones cares what you asked for or what you play and no ones talking about having issues in dungeons.
We where discussing the extreme amounts of players present in the open world making it quite difficult at times to get tags or they are very slow
No one needs hand holding like your first trlol post
And no one needs to L2P a 20 year old game like some basement dweller, standing in one spot for a quest npc spawn location spamming a spell hoping they get the tag isn’t l2p but nice try in your second troll post

he’s not trolling. you need to relax. he didn’t say dungeoning was hard. the point he was making was that you don’t need to spam them either to level up; running them once for the quests was enough.
you should really learn to be less triggered and take in what more experienced players are telling you.
and why are you standing around waiting for one mob to respawn? those types of quests are only for the named NPC’s and you need one of them. the type of competition for npcs you’re describing existed only at launch day and more recently in hillsbrad fields (for the named npcs only). the entire game isn’t like that.
We’re free to disagree with each other. STV, Badlands, Hillsbrad, it’s completely stupid and annoying in my opinion. Very poor gameplay experience to fight each other (same faction) for a tiger or an elemental. I played classic and SoD and it wasn’t bad to that extent. I’m not trying to change your opinion tho. I know some of you like it the way it is but it’s not my case.

I just don’t have the same experience with 95% of the quests on the PvE server. I’m mid-40s at the moment, so I wouldn’t say I’m ahead of the curve by any means. Are you and Mr. Rage on the PvP realm perhaps?
I made my complaint being on the pvp server. The upside tho is they’re is a lot of fight with alliance over mobs haha. For dungeons I had no problem getting invited as a non mage non warrior class.
Been reading this, especially the last part in 2019 Release so often on this forums!
