Good thing I didn’t take that “Take a shot everytime the PCU is mentioned” challenge. I’d be dead from immedeate liver failure.

In all seriousness though, my own experiences are that they mostly keep to themselves these days anyways and rp amongst their own, so at this rate you’re not bound to run into them unless you actively seek them out.

Edit: On the Alliance that is, can’t speak for the Horde since I don’t rp there.

Everyone is free to reply if they have input I don’t know where you’re getting this from, it’s not like people are getting gagged and silenced

Sorry I thought you didn’t like us supporting each others posts

Glad to hear, thanks. How big a portion of the active server pop would you guesstimate that they are on A?

Unfortunately for you pretty much everyone who looks at these forums that isn’t in the PCU will either:

  • Not respond to the question because you’ve just been blatantly jabbing at people for your entire post

  • Post  and wait for the inevitable PCU member to come and argue

  • Say pretty much the same thing over and over but in a way that isn’t disagreeing with you and you probably wouldn’t complain about.

Horde side is guild based, plenty not PCU. You just need to seek them out. Many don’t advertise publicly.

Certain hubs are active at certain times.

Alliance side has more life in it, see what you can find both sides. I applaud the confidence too! Welcome to AD.

Yeah we bump our threads, we want them to be seen, it’s why they exist. If a guild feels like their thread is just being pushed away then they’re more than welcome to bump their own thread as well.

Coward.

It’s difficult to want to invest in any kind of discussion, when the chances are that - because of the content of the OP relating to a certain community - the thread will be derailed to discussed that instead, yeah.

OP - some advice from a player completely disconnected to any server politics and who isn’t a member of any ‘major’ community: if you want to discuss the server and its opportunities, it’s better not to dedicate 80% of the text space of your post to a particular group. Especially when said group fields these topics/arguments several times a week sometimes.

You can complain about people from said community responding, but they’re doing so all as individuals; they’re not the subject of a hivemind. That’s why there’s a myriad of them making their thoughts known in here so far, and (very likely) not because they’re coordinating against you.

You could very easily have fielded a productive conversation if you hadn’t name-dropped or alluded to anyone. Granted, given the tone you’ve taken, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just another boring provocation dressed up under a guise.

You’re way too weak for booze buddy.

I genuinely post maybe once or twice a month, sometimes less. I can assure you the hivemind has not sent me. Tired takes just sometimes demand attention. It is also great fun to read the replies.

Is what i think it is at least.

If I made this thread without explaining why there’d just be spam about that instead. I think I’ve gotten some solid responses when I filter out the sheepies, so the thread has somewhat served its purpose even if I’d love to know more about the playerbase composition on A. They may not be a hivemind, but they sure act as one.

@ghormisa. Cheers, appreciate it!

Sig, please, for the love of God. Comment as many times as you want, but can you please structure your posts in a way that is not grating to read? You always have these walls of text that make it exhausting to read.

Use this tactic. When one point ends, leave a gap like this, and then start typing out your next point. Paragraphing makes it much easier to comprehend what you want to say.

No one wants to read one huge cinderblock of text, my friend.

I’m not sure why some people from a community coming to respond after you took jabs at them comes off as a surprise and like a ‘hivemind’.

U are a real forehead lmao

Incredibly obvious bait-thread.

Just report it for trolling and ignore the OP. Not even particularly high effort.

I have to ask, what was the idea behind this post? You didn’t exactly ask any questions, make any queries. You just made a statement about your return, and a slight jab at the PCU.

It’s not very constructive, nor does it help keep the forums clean of dramatic thread-heaps. If you want to come back, sure. Go ahead. If you don’t want to RP with the PCU, that’s your prerogative.

You don’t have to squeeze out a thread, just to make a personal point about people you want to have nothing to do with.

Good tip: at the bottom of each thread you can stop tracking certain threads. I did this for the vomitorium pcu recruitment posts and it worked wonders. I don’t see them anymore and the forum is all the better.

Anyway don’t talk to me, I’m a bad egg. Just continue to listen to your regularly scheduled victimising sympathy posts.

Main point was to get information on PCU’s in-game presence, which I did ask about. As a side-effect I assumed that I’d be able to verify if my impression of the group was accurate or not, yes most groups respond to criticism but the way and fervor you go about it is quite telling to me.

So far this thread has been quite useful for me. I’d have preferred a greater focus on PCU’s in-game presence but I’ve still learnt a lot.
