Youre very clearly stating that there is no misuing the report system, after I stated that it was everyones business if a person were to misuse it. “We may not judge reports because all reports are reports and reports cannot be misused” that is literally what you said in that first post, and dont try to put it on the OP report because I had already let go of that topic and was speaking in the general sense of people misusing the reporting system, after claiming that reporting is our business as a community. I clearly stated that in the context of this discussion which at the time was purely about one person reporting a name you didn’t agree with reporting.
You are now trying to twist it because for some reason you don’t seem to be happy unless you are complaining about something.

No words twisted, quoted everything you said literally, me speaking in the general sense (even giving an example of person x and y to further move from the OPs situation), and then you saying “There is no misuse” dot end. Do I have to go through and quote every part of this discussion up to the point you twisted it?
The TLDR version is:-
- person asks how they can report a name on forum that they think isn’t appropriate
- they get a reply on how to do it
- others chime in disapproving of this action
- MVP states that it’s nothing to do with any of us but is down to Blizz to deal with
- you go on about abuse, wrongful to report like this etc
- MVP tries again to explain that the system is there for this person to be able to report if they feel a name is offensive, only Blizz can judge
After that point you decided that the discussion is now about something completely different ie ‘is it possible to abuse the report function’. That is a completely different discussion but you decided to misquote me none the less.
And here we are. Eternally discussing absolutely nothing, while the OP has done their report which Blizzard will review it and decide if any action is needed.

No, you follow the direction the discussion is going or you stay out of it. I was already explaining how misusing it was possible with the definition of the word before the overwatch example. Me saying you denied misusing as a possibility wasn’t even new information because you simply did. Make yourself clear, and you wouldnt have to make a mess of yourself and deny everything.

It’s up to Blizzard to decide if any reports that are sent are justified/time-wasting/misused/abused.

I answered within the context of the OP. Now you need to let it go. I said the OPs report is nothing to do with you. That will NEVER change, no matter how you lie. misrepresent, twist and misquote me. Blizzard will make a decision based on the report they receive about this.
