Increase drop rates in sub +6 dungeons

every player should get a piece of champion loot in a sub 6+ dungeon.

would increase player participation and make it less of an annoynce to do 25 low boring dull dungeons and pray to rng gods or as it is now people just skipping the entire bracket and get carried straight away in a hero track dungeon.

i often go 2-4 dungeons without a loot dropping, but never 2 dungeons in a row with loot. so who is getting the loot ? its pure rng people say, pure consistent rng i guess.

FIRST: If you think dungeons are boring then you should not do them. Do delves instead.
SECOND: If you think dungeons are boring and you get gear for playing ONCE, then what would you suggest that would convince you do it 24 more times when you already got everything you need from them.

I think the RNG achieved its goal: Increased participation. Instead of doing the dungeon once and logging off, you did it 25 times. :slight_smile:

i dont think dungeons are boring, but i think its boring to do 30 low dungeons to get gear that i have to replace, and what happens ? people skip and get carried instead in 6+.

do you have an idea of how long you can sit in low tier dungeons to farm gear if you did it the intended way?

doing dungeons once? i said 1 loot per player nothing about what loot you cant gaurentee the drop you want.

This is pretty good idea. Delves already guarantee Champion loot. I’ve just been gearing alts in the background in Delves and it is pretty boring and too many trinkets.

And its less boring to do 30 dungeons for no reason at all ?

I do have an idea. I also know that if you farm dungeons you are an idiot. You should NEVER farm dungeons the way you do.

The way the system is intended to be played is: Do dungeons for fun. Just play them. ANY dungeon. And gear will rain down from the sky. You will have multiple duplicates of every item.

If you focus on the rewards only, you will get frustrated. Because dungeons are not supposed to be farmed. They are supposed to be played.

my opinion is that doing sub hero track dungeon is a big boring chore that most people seek every possible trick in the book to avoid.

Thats not an opinion. That’s a fact.

Just play dungeons for fun. And you will have a ton of gear.

Because in the time it takes you to wait in the quew for that specific +6 DFC to farm that specific BiS trinket you would have done 2, 3 maybe 4 dungeons. Possibly of higher level giving you Hero gear.

Its math. Not opinion.

Also: WHY the hell is it a chore to begin with? Dont do things you dont want to do. Simply do delves. Those guarantee you gear. Why waste your time doing something you dont want to do?

Its stupid from every possible angle you look at it.

Lets put it this way.

You are swimming in a river. Against the current. And you complain that swimming gets you tired and you dont move anywhere.

My answer is: You feel tired and bored because you swim against the current. Swim WITH the current and you will get to your destination faster. And if you dont like swimming, walk instead.

How is that an “opinion”? Its an observation. A FACT.

But if you are so stubborn as to stick to your narrative then maybe you should get that checked out first.

If we increase drop rates in low keys to appease loot whining, when, where M0 and delves are already a reasonable gearing alternative, we only further decrease motivation to run them after teh first 4 weeks of a season completely “because I don´t need anything there”

Meaning that nyone that wants to get into pugging m+ after that initial rush, or do it with an Alt /reroll, is effectively screwed even more than they already are, because they are then forced jump straight into 7s and get flamed for not knowing the dungeon yet.

Won´t affect me even in the slightest, but still Hard pass.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to increase the loot drops. M+ is already very rewarding.

I dont really think it is needed. Especially because champion gear is already obtainable in large amounts.

The best way to get into m+ is to actually run M+.

Which effectively becomes impossible for beginners after 4 weeks of the season when everyone has “champion Bis” or whatever you seem to be chasing that motivated you to start this thread and moves on to +7s.

its for alts anyway, no mains run champion loot track dungeons now anyway.

game should have a steady influx of alts unless its dying.

Game needs an influx of new players, not alts. Alts don´t bring additional sub revenue, new players do.

New players that will effectively be locked out of even trying M+ completely by the Pug Cryhard overlords simply because nobody is running low keys anymore.

But hey, forcing more rmt for boosting services just so people can reach the numbers the cryhards demand from anybody just to be allowed to participate is always a good thing, right? :rofl:
