The whole concept of the current Av is a brain-dead activity that doesn’t offer fun, engagement of anything that would mean that this is pvp activity .
As i created this topic i just finished an Av with a total of deaths being 7. (Most probably due the bosses 
and i mean the whole teams deaths Horde-Alliance ) .
As i’m creating this topic i saw many people with 400k honor and some had 34 Hks…
Would be nice to buff anything that demands some use of pvp engagement .
- Buff honor gained by killing others
- Increase Honor by completing some activities /cap tower etc ( I barely saw anyone capping in 4 weeks that i’m start doing pvp )
- Capping or getting some points increase Honor obtained by 10% or 20%
There are so many things to do to increase not only participation but also the fun that such activity offer .
AV should be reworked to force long games. Make commanders and lieutenants hit like a truck. Make towers shoot like a jeep. Make bosses impossible without burning towers. Make summons matter. Right now short AV games with absurd honor gains even for losing side make it best honor per hour with zero effort, which shadows other battlegrounds.
I’m trying to enjoy as much as i can but rather to say is basically an rp .
People that got engaged in battle don’t even bother to fight back …
It’s sad to see people like i previous said with 400k honor some even 500 k honor and with zero Hks .
Majority of the time you wait the 2:00 minutes before starts . 2 minutes to travel and 2 minutes to kill commaders and der/van … Epic:D
Anniversary PvP is the worst iteration of classic PvP I’ve ever experienced.
It’s literally just AV spam AV spam. If people decide to go mid and just have a fight, people get mad and report them and openly call for others to do the same. “Derailing team progress”, by pvping in a battleground!
The problem fundamentally is what they have done for R14, they have made it welfare epics where the only requirement is sinking in huge amount of time running back in forth in AV doing no PvP. But the gear is simply too good for min/max PvE players too ignore.
It is too late to change the ranking system again, it is also not fair on those still ranking to nerf Honor gains when so many have it already.
As you say, the need to buff the Honor from kills in PvP to make it worth it for people to PvP in AV from an honor per hour perspective, they also need to fix AV and turn it back from whatever this is. Its literally such a hollow version of the battleground
Obviously, AB and WSG need to have Honor buffed, and WSG needs a timer. Kills in AB/WSG should also give a little bit of rep too

Would be amazing and it only need 1person and few hours to adjust the programming of such things.
The problem is that AV is the only viable path to rank 14 for solo players since 90% of WSG/AB games are against premades.
If you screw over AV you need to introduce solo queue imo.

As much as i like PvP, but farming 500k honor 10 hours a day vs sweaty premades doesnt sound appealing lol. Solo que wsg ab sounds good

Who said that solo players are entitled for highest PvP ranks? Create or join premade, nothing wrong with it.
Well Blizzard said so when they designed AV to be very viable path to rank 14 for solo players.
You can still enjoy the premade queue vs other premades. I didn’t mean to remove premades with my suggestion.

well thats just a lie 500k honour with 0 HKs considering you need 15 HK a week minimum to qualify the rank on the next reset
True, but if the other BGs aren’t pimped it will even be worse. BC hardly anyone will like to q for AV when it’s impossible to do the 7-9 min games.
Other BGs become important when their honor is being buffed.
It won’t get worse. You have 3 battlegrounds or world PvP as honor sources. If noone would like to queue for AV, then everyone would queue to WSG, AB or participate in open world PvP.
And after R14 farm on my main, I won’t miss AV for the next 10 years. Especially considering the perspective of farming R14 on my alt.
No, they become important, when their honor will not be significantly lower than AV honor. One way is to buff WSG and AB, another way is to nerf AV. Both ways would work. And nerfing AV would be better, because it would make R14 more prestigious. Not in this Classic iteration, of course, it wouldn’t be fair to late comers.
Leave AV alone, buff honor from WSG and AB to match AV. Simple as.
