Increase raid difficulty

It’s way too easy. Please make AQ Alot harder than used to be. Since we change black lotus to the better, we might aswell change raids abit  use at the very minimum private server difficulty  they were more time consuming/difficult

You could also increase the difficulty yourself by going in with less people, more memespeccs and without worldbuffs. What’s the minimum amount of players needed to complete those raids?

Unrelated change X is extremely destructive to use for change Y.

No, thanks.

Or just go there without optimal raid setups, optimal class specs, flasks, elixirs, world buffs and whatever else min-maxers do.

it’s 100% related to raiding difficulty, the BL change means flasks will be more accessible to the masses and make raids even easier than they currently are.

Though imo the argument should be made for increased raid difficulty as the average player is just better at the game than an average player back in Vanilla.

Sorry man. The big part of the player base here want easy raid to feel strong & proud (perhaps to evacuate some frustration ?)

They don’t care about the Vanilla experience, they want to do what they weren’t able to do back then. No matter if it’s 5x easier unfortunatly.

Everyone is asking for easier things but no one (except this thread) is asking to revert back some nerfs etc… It look like they love faceroll every raids.

Sure, let’s have a difficult raid after 2 faceroll 20man raids.

Oh but #nochanges. Please just give trash more HP so it’s more “difficult”. Can add oneshot mechanics. And please Cthun tentacles spawn in a way so they’re unkillable. We need authentic.

You mean, like the 5 priests Hakkar during Vanilla ?

15 years later we can’t know for sure if it was really unkillable. But we’ll never know. It’s not the actual Blizzard mentality to give challenge to the players.
Imagine if they have to play and try hard a bit ? So much Q.Q will come.

Just because something is doable doesn’t mean it’s fair.

Archimonde in TBC was doable even when he could Grip targets in the air, as long as you got lucky enough and he didn’t. Doesn’t mean that was a fair mechanic at all.

Similarly, I don’t see how it’s fair for C’thun to spawn tentacles in unreachable places - including inside the friggin stomach. Maybe it’s doable, but I don’t think it’d make for an enjoyable challenge. To me, at least.

Vanilla-like would be to go in there with suboptimal gear (tier sets), without reading strat-guides and with memespecs.

Artificialy increasing difficulty so that min/max guilds get a challenge is anything BUT vanilla (imo it would be a good thing, but don’t pretend it is in the spirit of vanilla.

Problem with easy raid is most people quit because gearing is so quick everybody has full bis on main and lacks any incentive to play. Its like playing game on god mode. Fun for 10 minutes.

Go away. Far far far away.

if you’re seeking challenge & competition? then you’re in the wrong game xD

That’s a fallacy. It will not be “more accessible”. It will be more authentic by being less inaccessible.

we are talking about raid difficulty not how authentic the classic experience currently is.

You was using an unrelated change as an argument to add more changes.

This is not a discussion about raid difficulty. It’s a thread asking for a different game.

Do we want Classic or do we want Classic+. How many changes should we add in Classic+? Should there be two Classic versions or even more? That’s what this thread really is about.

The salt about the black lotus, lmao.

If ye want a harder raid(raids are easy atm anyway) - have your raid group go without any buffs / world buffs / consumables XD.

Try real life - that’s got real challenge and competition. This is just a game.

Real life sucks. They’re taking even longer to fix the plague bug than Blizzard did back in 2005. It’s ridiculous. US, China and Europe = small indie companies.
