That said, I wouldn’t mind a sub increase if that meant I got EVERYTHING on the store included, no exceptions, and that tokens were removed. $15 is a lot less today than it was in 2004.

If Blizz proposed a 5 euro a month increase but promised to add 30% more
features, development and support to the game would you go for it? Tbh we have
been sitting arounf the price point for 15 years. Although thats great and makes it
accessible, I would happily pay more if it meant getting more from the game.

Before anyone kicks off, its a theoretical in a forum of which i have no power to make
happen. Its not going to happen so chill. I am just curios as to the pro and cons I havent

no. there are free to play games out there provided 100% more content for no sub cost

• Lost ark, Gw2, warzone, runescape, NW… etc

its just plain greed at this point to ask for more, if anything it should be F2P

Tbh we have

the price was increased in 2019 actually, from £6.99 to £10.00 a month
and the price for a wow token was £10 and now its £17
in game services were £7 now they are £25

Crowdfunded content requested by communtity and for community is the future of MMO.
So many fake and real games are being made with that model, there are plenty of people who are ready to chip in small amounts of cash.

for additional content beyond mythic raiding and other elite venues they are already making every patch.

Absolutely not. I would leave instantly.
As the game is now, they should lower if not halve the subs. The increase cannot afford it. And they should remove the sub for classic, tbc and wotlk, because charging old expansions is a steal.

By 30% more features do you mean like… a 5th covenant? Cuz then hell naw. Or more daily grinds? What are the features we’re talking about?

I don’t think WoW suffers from a lack of content - it is the biggest game ever made. It suffers from bad utilization of all the content it has. In my opinion the amount of content we get is fine.

WoW’s problem seems to be that all the borrowed power systems clash and are impossible to balance, which then causes problems that need to be patchworked with temporary solutions like Shards of Domination, that take away from actual content development time.

So Blizz doesn’t need to up the sub cost to add more content. They just need to stop making borrowed power systems.

Ofc not. We are already paying to much, and if sub cost would increase - I would stop paying for it. If it was like 20eur/month, then I would rather buy full games from steam.
