Infinite gold making in TBC using Blizzard help?

So if u get to keep your Classic gold into TBC! That means if a dude with tons of gold in classic goes to TBC and chose to pay money to also keep his Classic caracter, can then give his classic gold again to a friend who can do the same thing! That just means u go into tbc with infinite amount of gold if u just repeat the proces over and over! I hope im wrong !!!

You are kind of right and kind of wrong as far as I know on this. A snapshot of ALL characters will be taken at the exact same point so if you transfer gold it won’t go into TBC. Think of it like this: you will be given an option to choose TBC or classic. As soon as you choose TBC, your character will roll back to the snapshot and carry over. If the person with your gold then tries to transfer after you, it will also be rolled back to the exact same moment so effectively the sum of your gold will be the same.

There is one issue however. If you have guildies or friends that will not play TBC - whether they will be quiting or staying in vanilla - you can ask them to give you all their gold BEFORE the snapshot happens, then move onto TBC with your character, then make a clone on vanilla server with real money (if you plan on playing both for instance) then give your friends their gold back. This will eventually duplicate the gold on vanilla classic servers. Also, obviously, if your friends won’t play TBC, you will be able to carry THEIR gold with you as well to TBC, practically injecting a lot of gold into TBC, for sure.

Anyways, for vanilla classic, Blizzard doesn’t care all that much about economy I think, those servers be mostly dead imho. But TBC will be affected badly for sure if a lot of people think this through.

Transfering those copied characters to tbc can also bring a lot of copied gold to tbc. Guild piles a ton of gold to a character, copies that character and then when transfers are open, just transfer them to tbc.

But naah you cant talk about this because its clearly without fault, blizzard has thought about everything.

Its not like people have noticed this and dont want to talk about it so it doesnt get fixed so it can be abused. Thats the todays gamer mentality.

There will be no later transfers (as far as we know) from Era to TBCC. If you copy/transfer at a later time, you transfer the snapshot-version of the character before the pre-patch. So you can “duplicate” some gold in a way, because you can have it in both Era and TBC (you can pile a ton of gold on one character so you only have to pay the copy fee once, yes). Majesty explained this correctly.

Snapshots of realms will occur, when this happens the realms will be split, Classic and TBCC realms, there will be no way of moving money from a char from classic to a TBCC server when this happens, just make sure your main has all you need in their bank etc before this occurs. The option to pay to have your character on both realms as I am aware would just be a pay to activate it if you already started on the other server

Learn to read, you cannot do this, because the copy that you can chose to take into tbc is fixed after patch, meaning that any trade / mail is not going to be possible.

So this is how it works.

Snapshot: 18/05/2021 10:25
You choose whether you continue to TBC or stay on classic.

If you wish to then transfer to TBC later on.
Your character at 18/05/2021 10:25 will be the copy that transfers to TBC, not any further than that.

Understand clearer now?

Im pretty sure youre the one whose confused. There will be transfers later on from classic to TBC. Thats when you can transfer the gold from classic to tbc.

I know this isnt confirmed but comoon.

You’re the one confused
You’re going by “assumptions”

No this wont happen.

Character snapshots are taken when the pre-patch launches and you have to make the choice before you log in on any character.

You won’t be able to transfer gold around before choosing where to go.

You make the choice before logging in on any character after the pre-patch, the choice is almost certainly final.

If they ever allow later transfers from Classic Era to TBC they would likely use the same pre-patch snapshot whether you like it or not, anything you acquire during Classic Era (after the pre-patch) would be lost when/if you transfer that character to TBC if that’s even possible.

No, there won’t. Where did you get this mistaken idea? You obviously haven’t even read the Blog.

With Burning Crusade Classic™ , players will be provided a choice of taking their characters beyond Azeroth and through the Dark Portal into Outland or staying in Azeroth—for all time.

Kemurai is 100% right.

They are already going to sell mounts and boosts and you people seriously think they wont sell transfers from classic to tbcc?

They may but Blizzard have stated that any transfer will be from the Snapshot, not your character progression at the time, so if you want to go to TBCC then your character may be months or even years in the past when you copy it.

As Dottie said of course they may, but the transfered character will likely still be from the snapshot.

Then they can just give you their gold and quit. It has nothing to do with TBC.

They will but it will be the snapshot version of your char from the prepatch. Say for example you obtain thunderfury or Medvihs staff after the snapshot, you won’t have that if you choose to go TBCC later. Same goes for the gold or any other items in inventory you have

Lets circle back to this when its implemented. Theres no way its just the snapshot.

It will be given as an option for characters from classic era to tbc in id say 2-3 months after tbc release. Not snapshots but any characters.

this is not possible, please read the post they made about it before you type about the topic ty
