Hey! Pretty much title. What is going on. My currency from EUR have changed to SEK. Swedish krona. Just opened in-game store and all the currency is changed, no idea what is going on!
Some while ago you may have received a currency change email notification.
It looks like they finally went around and did it this time.
Oh thank you. I’m from Swe myself, just always had EUR as currency.
In my case they also seem to have emptied my Battle.net balance in the process. The emails talked about conversion but the funds seem to have disappeared completely.
Thank you once again, just found the email in my Gmail explaining that. Thank you, have a great one!
Interesting, that’s not meant to happen according the emails either. I hope they can give more official news tomorrow about this and still convert your remaining currency to your current new one.
Same here, all my previous eur balance is gone and just shows 0 sek now
I see iam not the only one who had battle.net saldo in Euro and after change to local/country currency it now shows 0 money in ballance. Well i hope and think they’ll make the exchange soon for everyone.
I had .13€ before what appears to have been backend maintenance on the payment systems that caused mass disconnect waves, went down to 0 for a few hours, and is now back to .13€. When everything is done and you close + reopen the launcher it will almost 100% sure be back to what it was before. Normal work day in Cali ends in about an hour, so unless they heve to pull overtime due to some unforseen issue it should be done by then.
It’s now showing SEK 149.12 (13 euros) in the launcher but that’s very inaccurate I had well over 100 euros before the change, but yeah this is probably a top priority for them to fix, so just have to wait I guess
My guess is that they´re probably migrating the transaction history last, as that´s where at least theoretically the fewest hiccups can occur as it´s “just” adding lines with dates and purchase records to the existing new database. You can probably log out and in every few minutes and watch it cllimb like the bitcoins we all wish we had purchased in 2010
But if it´s not all back by reset, definitely don´t hesitate to open a ticket
Yep, seems to have been fixed now or atleast for me. shows a more accurate balance number now
Hey there,
As discovered already this would be part of a recent effort to offer more players a chance to pay in their local currency and those affected should have received email notification already.
You can also find details about this here: Battle.net Balance Converted To Different Currency.
Glad to hear your balance updated correctly in the end!
Also note that in some cases you may still be able to continue paying in EUR, so keep an eye out for the currency selection drop-down at checkout, in case that’s your preference.
My battle.net saldo is restored with homeland currency value after exchange. Well all is good.
What you didn’t reveal is that you’re using an atrocious currency exchange rate, which results in a 10% markup across the board. Diablo 4 costs 301kr on Steam, compared to 330kr on Battle.net.
The same bullsh!t happened with the WOW sub, increased by 10%.
We were perfectly fine paying in Euro or USD, this is a filthy and greedy cash grab by a company with no ethics or morals.
