People want to inspect you for literally everything. What a joke this game has become.

We should be able to inspect party members no matter how far you they are, just as is on retail. This will save us the walk to A’dal. Please look into this, Kaivax.

Inspect at adal or /w stats (spell power, mp5, hit rating, attack power, crit etc etc) was pretty standard already in 2007 mate.

Why would you check gear at adal when you can check warcraftlogs?

To get into a dungeon, you need gear and Achievements, that you need to have already run the dungeon to have. Talk of viscious circles …

My prefered way actually. Less chance for screw ups with better geared folks.

I inspect for raids because i dont want blue/green geared ppl with Q items. And if a person dont have gems/enchants they dont even care about their own character so why should i?

Imagine getting rejected kara with s2-s3 and few t6 items. Feels good

Yeah, that sounds very modest and reasonable, almost to the point of fiction.

I have the feeling the truth is the highest geared players set the standard for everyone else, why accept someone for Karazhan or Grull with less than T6 if players with T6 are available and looking for badges?

As the average goes up, you’re simply expected to either buy yourself into a GDKP run or get carried through your guild alts.

All of this crap can simply be solved with LFR/LFD in wotlk though, no inspections, just a min level for scrubs wanting to play together and accept they might be sub-optimal.

Yet sometimes it turns into “You need the last boss achievement to get the first quarter of the raid” and “You need more gear score than available from this raid and more gear score than me, because I did this on my main and don’t want to wipe with noobs”

If you don’t like the requirements put up by the group/raid leader in their run you’re always free to lead a group yourself.

I don’t get the point of this thread. We just complaining because we can?

You know the retail group finder system for crossrealm dungeons had raids has one good feature. You can’t set minimum required ilvl above your own gear ilvl. This limitation was put for a reason, because some might think, that they can be carried by full BiS , except for 1-2 items, players who will roll only on said items.

And I had been RL of PUGs and HM guild raid alike, so it is not problem as long as I am prepared, however I never look for someone to carry me to free loot. The challenge is the best reward.
