Indeed. The only thing I disagree with in this thread is the immediate release of the system. Improving it should definitely be considered though.

Given how long it’s taken to gather tier sets previously for me, BIG FAT X. I didn’t even have full tier 5 by the time we started raiding MH/BT. Never got tier 6 bonuses.
It took ages to get it even though I was the only mage as well in the guild I was in during firelands, in cataclysm.
So, be happy the catalyst is here to solve issues like this.
Instead you complain it doesnt open up fast enough.
But hey, you need tier on day 1 apparently for whatever reason…
It’s way too long to get the tier sets. First you have to wait weeks, then when it finally activates, you have to wait for the charges.
Back in the days there was no free tier at all, why not just be happy u get one for free?
There’s no free tier.
It’s kinda free u just get some off parts then go transform them into tier, i say that’s free.

I still stand by my earlier remark:
Be happy they implemented said system.
And take the charges and stuff just like; ah well better this than nothing. Or you might again end up farming whatever raid tier for a full set and never see the final parts like you had in BT or MH.
I was actually on team: catalyst wont return in DF.
Because i literally thought: Blizzard will spin it like: the creation catalyst makes sense in ZM because they started life and created it.
So for that reason it wont see a return in Dragonflight since it makes no sense storywise.
And also, they clearly stated its a new feature thats here to stay as mentioned in a blue post.
So overall, happy it stays.
Sad i wont make use of it since i wont play due to their retarded choices for the M+ season.

For us who don’t raid the struggle to find group is real. And I’m not taking about my meta class, I had to change to this to be invited.
I’m talking about not being able to play because the others who do different content are more qualified to play the content you enjoy

Reasons why catalyst should be instant:
- its needed for pug groups else you get declined
- my friends unsub if they cant make tier
- when pushing KSM and above you need tier else you cant do it
- bonuses of tier are too strongk to be waited for so long
- you want tier asap for whatever reason
Anyway, good luck being triggered and unhappy about the catalyst.
There truly is no way to discuss a game feature with you switching back and forth so much.

You do realize that someone can dislike something for several reasons, yes?
Yes, but you keep adding reasons if people bring up facts that the system itself is a good addition.
And you tell people they cant have an opinion because they didnt match an arbitrary number you thought of.
So yeah, you keep piling up reasons for the sake to keep discussing something you dislike where others do disagree with you
Which you want to keep telling that their disagreement isnt right because of x or y.

Bruh, when you’ve done only one more dungeon on +15 during a whole season than a person that caps the vault once, when you have months between your runs, you really shouldn’t be talking about flaws within the system. They’re not going to run into any problems because they barely play the content. If you can even call that barely playing the content…
Imagine if I had gone into the raid early on in mythic and went “Well, this seems like a completely fine challenge” about halondrus, while not having really raided. People would just be like:

He’s basically doing the equivalent of me going into sepulcher on halondrus early into the tier like 2 or 3 times and going “WELL, THIS IS FINE, I DON’T SEE THE PROBLEM”. Except I didn’t do that, but he does that.

Given my past luck with obtaining tier sets, I doubt I would get it before I could craft it from the catalyst anyways. I did do LFR when it opened up but didn’t get any tier set.
