Do you want BfA?! Because that’s how you get BfA!
One QoL change on top of the other, on top of the other. And you end up with LFR and heirlooms.

So you resort to insulting people by calling them toddlers instead of presenting anything remotely resembling a compelling argument. Nice.
I call a spade a spade.
Plenty of reasonable arguments have been given in all these “NEED STUFF NOW” threads. Toddlers are incapable of understanding, minor QoL changes is what ruins classic.
So I’m a toddler and a gardening tool.
Still no argument presented from you.
I look forward to your next insult.
So, following your own logic, I guess you also want poisons to not be a profession, not even a vendor, just an ability in the General tab, Blind not requiring blinding powder and Vanish not requiring flash powder, right?
This is an RPG. RPG stands for ROLE-PLAYING game. Half of the reason why Classic is good is because it has those RPG elements which retail doesn’t have for years.
So no, it’s not a dumb argument. It’s actually the best argument on the table.
I did not insult you, I insulted those incapable of understanding how minor QoL ruins this game…it is up to you to decide if you are incapable.
In principle I oppose the #nochanges camp, Vanilla is a good game, but it’s far from perfect and there are areas in which can be made better.
As for instant mail, people need to understand that Vanilla wasn’t an alt-friendly game. People would occasionally re-roll classes or realms, but few people regularly played more than one character at max level. Instant mail was, of course, not the primary reason for that, but it contributed to it, so for me it’s not obvious that it’s a just “small QoL change that wouldn’t affect how the game is played”.
Key here is that these changes need to follow the game design principles that made Vanilla a cult status game for its niche. Personally, I don’t trust the current dev team in charge of Classic to uphold that vision, they’re likely re-purposed retail devs and their vision of what a MMO should be is Retail.
They’re like a chef asked to cook for people who think the previous chef’s food was better.
Why should you be able to instantly trade stuff between alts? You have limited bag space for a reason. If the game intended for you to use unlimited item space by alt-hopping then they would just give you unlimited bag spaces.
But alas…
Exactly, virtually everything in vanilla was done so for a reason. Limits, delays were there with a reason. It is why quite a few elements worked with a synergy that made this game be more than just another game.
Sure thing buddy, just like real life lets just remove any mythical being, dungeons as loading screens aren’t a thing in IRL (along with them all being filled with super natural beings), mail is sent to a specific mailbox for the character as opposed to just a mailbox, because naturally the Item can only be one place at a time.
Or I could just make the argument that the mail system in the Warcraft world is done through the use of magic such as mages trained in the art of teleporting items specifically to the mailbox from anywhere (you know like any mage can do for people to cities), or through a network of warlocks that summon the mail carrier from location to location to allow instant delivery.
There is no reason within the limits of how the world works given the rules of WoW, so please give a real argument instead of muh sound barrier.
Because, I suspect, he does not know (of) them. Or he is dense.
and once again it seems that intelligence is measured by the ability to trashtalk and make wild assumptions.
any way to make people interact is a good thing, removing that is one of the biggest gripes people have with modern, which i believe is one of the reasons it was originally so.
people asked for the original experience as close as possible, they got it.
be careful what you wish for…
Can I get instant lvl 60 alts too
#nochanges now let this topic go to the bottom of this forum
aye, let this one drop waaaay down into oblivion …
…
oh wait … darn it …
What the hell are you on about? Nowhere in my original comment did I say anything about if I enjoy wow classic or wow retail or my class as is!
Wow really? is that what RPG stand for…how did I miss that sarcasm. You are just making assumptions based on nothing , getting defensive about nothing and also proving my point at the vanilla trolls mentality.
Maybe that’s the problem with the vanilla fangirls. They make too many assumptions without facts to back it up and without the ability to calmly have a discussion about what could make wow classic better? No lets just go on the attack as soon as someone makes a post like this…it is really really sad.
Saying its the best argument??? are you insane? Its the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
PS : Its still only a game… you do realize that don’t you?
That’s a pretty wild reply for someone who’s claiming Classic fangirls are being aggressive.
All in all, you didn’t even understand my reply (or you did and that’s why you got mad - because you realized your own logic failed you).
The game is an RPG - same way you have to craft poisons, poisons have charges, blind requires blinding powder and vanish requires flash powder, mail can’t come instantly. Pretty simple. If you disagree, then you’re either dumb or using double standards.
So… debunk the argument?
Sounds like you have a small head
It would be really helpful as its very annoying trying to send gold/items back and forth between my various alts.
I’ve resorted to getting a friend to wait in town and trade things that way, its still not the quickest but if I need to quickly move things off an alt to my main its better than waiting an hour.
