I got a UI Crash error message when I booted up the game and was in the character selection screen. As soon as I entered the game I couldn’t see chat at all so did /leave 1 /join general as you’d expect to do and could see the chat then but whenever I type something in chat I can’t see the message I’ve sent. I disabled all addons, tried deleting the cache and interface files in the WoW directory but couldn’t seem to fix it. My graphics settings were reset after the UI crash too so I had to fix that as well. Has anyone encountered this bug before and knows what to do?
Look through your chat settings.
You must have disabled some channels.
