Just a short question: why do interrupts go on cd if the cast was just interrupted by another player? Why not work like cleanse, where u can cast it 100 times and unless it cleanses something it doesnt go on cd? Because the biggest issue i saw in TWW as a pug guy is that everyone interrupts the first cast ans then the group is toast.
Because otherwise you’d just mash it 3 times a second.
If everyone mashes it on the first cast, be the guy that doesn’t. Fixed.

Because back in the day, only casters had Dispels. Melees tended to not have them. And vice-versa for kicks. They used to be a melee class thing.
That is why dispels incur a GCD if pressed (even if you miss) while kicks do not. It’s off the GCD. And it’s that why. Because otherwise it would mess with melee rotations. Which are all (or most) instant cast spells.
There is, in fact, no reason as to why kicks dont simply trigger a GCD if missed. Today most classes have a kick. And many melees have a dispel.
