Introduce new Channels

Make it easier to buy or sell boosts - buffs - summons.

You could type /Join Boost for buying or selling boosts.
You could type /Join Buff for buying or selling buffs.
You could type /Join Summon for buying or sellling Summons.

Actually my opinion is, Keep WTB / WTS out of Lookingforgroup channel. The LFG channel should be specifically for players who want to join dungeons or raids not in selling access to dungeons and raids.

What you mean is ban all boosters and makebit a perma ban

People sell summons? Damn, I need to get in on this on my warlock main!

No, not at all. I have no problem with Boosts, Buffs or Summons… I just believe the LFG channel should be specifically for players who want to join real dungeons and raids, not in Selling or Buying your way into a dungeon or raid, when we know these boosts are not exactly groups for dungeons and raids… Boosting needs a separate channel and give back the traditional use of the LFG Channel.

This is not classic mate… wrong forum

Oh sorry… But do players sell boosts buff and summons in retail too? Thanks, ive edited to classic forums.

Boosts and its flooded with it… killing the game

Boosts in retail tend to refer to content, not levels. Hence people’s disdain towards them.

Thats right, Boosts, Buffs and Summoning belong in their own channel, it does seem to be reasonable for players to sell their services, but WTS / WTB do not belong in LFG, the LFG channel should be specifically used for genuine Dungeons / Raid Groups…

So people selling boosts shouldn’t use trade? They are selling a service, like an enchanter or tailor.

WTS / WTB should belong in some form of Trade Channel, yet they are not Trading anything but gold. They Sell or Buy Boosts, Summons or Buffs for gold, Not Items. Trade chat is for buying or selling items, Not boosting, buffing or summoning.

I did have an idea, someone could start a channel for each of these services… Add Channel… " Boost " " Buff " " Summon "…

Either we could do this ourselves and keep it going, or maybe Blizzard could introduce some new channels for these services. These player to player services wont disappear in game at any time. But we can reduce the clutter in LFG for player to player services like buffing, boosting and summoning…

There are genuine players that prefer to join genuine dungeon and raid groups through the LFG channel… LFG is for Genuine groups or Dungeon/Raid Groups.

I would disagree with that as they are selling a service, just like a leatherworker selling their trading skills.

You then need to have 3 accounts, as you will need to have 2 clickers as well. The other method would require you to find either voluntary clickers (very hard consistently) or pay people to click, which is just not very profitable. But yeah, if you have 3 accounts you can make buckets of gold through smart summoning services.

You cannot police the channels but you can use asdons to tidy them up or parse (no, not warcraft logs meaning of the term parse but a parser as it existed forever until it became a wow term for raid performance) a channel and list the requests in a separate list.

Both will help you avoid channels full of spam and let you only see what you want to see
