Is anyone else bored of 8.3?

Sadly I have to agree that already I am logging on, taking a look, seeing the quests and losing motivation …

…Instead I have popped to my rogue who has herbalism and got her to fly round the water areas in Uldum to pick up the 7 of these green Gershie things in the hope the friendly alpaca shows up and will start to feed it over 7 days to get the mount … pass some time I guess

Got the cloak, and on the second day I did 1 daily and havn’t been touching 8.3 since.
However, my son (soon 13), has just started playing and I enjoy leveling with him immensely.

It’s almost been a week since 8.3 launched and I’m bored, I can’t see the point of the uldum and pandaland dailies I’ve done them here and there but I find the rewards really tiresome and the recycled content a chore. The assaults (when they happen) take about 20 mins and they’re okay I guess, I found Legion invasions more fun personally. But I’ll hand it to blizz on the horrifics they are great fun but you can’t do them all the time because of the costs.

But apart from a bit of content I’m really finding this patch boring and I was really hoping it wouldn’t be.

Am I the only one feeling like this?.

as much i supported mythic + i do feel that it was a huge mistake to implement it instead bunch of new dungeons each patch.

I laughed when 8.3 took 2 hours or less for a quest reward that were orange, and when they re-created old content, boring, felt way too rushed, and well I will sub to the game to support it, but if Shadowlands is another Dreanor I am actually going to search for another game an no longer support lazily company, let’s be honest the game ain’t cheap.

That’s why I like leveling so much, taking everythink in my own speed. No AP or reputation grind all day long.

You know, just having a good time enjoying the game alone or even better with someone else.

So far this has been the worst patch in bfa hands down. The bugs are endless. There is barely any explanation of some of the new features and it feels like a very half baked job.

War Mode is only part I like of world content, and luckily a never ending supply of fun on that.

IMHO, this patch is an asbolute farce and insult to the playerbase.

Everything is just blatantly in yer face, bad buggy and tedious. I’m pretty sure they all know it too over at Blizz HQ.

I mean, don’t get me wrong I understand there was 800 odd employees laid off last year who PROBABLY could have smoothed some of this out, but then what’s the excuse for the countless bugs and glitches when they were still employed ?

Yeah, the excitement of the new shiny patch has worn off and now I’ve realised I’m stuck farming dailies. I already resented doing that all these months for Mech and Nazj, so do it for another 6+ months does my head in.

My sub actually came to mind for the first time in a while. And that pretty much guarantees I’ll be gone within the next month or two.

Only thing keeping me going is my Vulpera and seeing the new seasonal affix in m+. But given how alt-unfriendly this patch is, it seems I won’t be able to follow through completely.

But yeah I’m bored and not thinking of doing it again on any alt anytime soon

I am not bored, just mad at how alt unfriendly this patch is. It is too tedious and time consuming to have to complete visions and dailies on all of the alts and to level up the cloak, plus do regular emissaries.

Something needs to give to make this game more alt friendly after all the more alts we play the more it helps Blizzard’s MAU metric for their quarterly reports.

why do you think they made the 6 months deal imidiately ?

they know this patch is garbage

they wanted to hook people in before they realise its garbage after 2-3 days of playing it.

Just do the Assaults when available, the mount/pet daily, and the daily minor vision. The other dailies for the most part aren’t worth wasting time over for such minuscule gains.

you dont have to farm 3rd essence slot if you dont have any essences because they are not account wide ^^
