So I’m going to roll on the horde faction (as I want to enjoy windfury as a warrior, the memories man…)
By that I mean:
-Not as unbalanced as shazzrah (which is like 70/30), but still slightly horde-favored (55/45 or 60/40 at max)
-Very well populated
-Good community
-good wpvp scene
Basically I don’t mind playing on a horde favored server, but not to the point where alliance players start to leave
Firemaw is another one of those zoomer/twitch kid servers i would avoid it like the plague
for a true vanilla experience i would recommend Ten Storms alliance.

I have been playing since launch here and havent seen any zoomer/twich memes in chat yet
Ten Storms is 50/50 perfect balance so horde is fine too

Well ten Storms is quite well balanced on the old census stats, though that was mainly on the low levels. Higher you selected, the more horde start to outnumber alliance.
So we need more Alliance to roll here!

I went for first time to ally side,as everyone going horde,kind of fresh experience.
I would 100% play alliance if not for Shamans … I love the class too much but it is really annoying that Horde is so popular
I started Golemag, for a week or so at launch, then rerolled Ten Storms and now am level 42 (I am pretty casual). There’s a lot above me (50+) and a few 60’s. Maybe two or three raid guild as far as I can tell.
Had friends start on the realm three weeks ago and they are finding plenty of others to play with (one of them 35 already!) so I think you are definitely not to late to start here.
Plenty to do, nice community so far, and a decent faction balance, so plenty of Gnomes to punt.
Like all PvP servers, Firemaw is very horde favored. Feels like at least 70/30.
Horde, as Apes has already shown, your overpowered racials don’t make up for your lack of skill.
its good if you want 90% horde ratio by the next month or so and queues.
Dont expect any pvp until phase 3 bro.
Ya people are about right on this. Firemaw feels fairly horde-favoured (biased of course!) but certainly isn’t super extreme either way.
Zoomer crap isn’t really a thing, but the meta is pretty badly damaged by spellcleave.
I wouldn’t say you’re too far behind at all. You’ve skipped the riffraff, you might even be able to quest properly
