I think it is the only one I haven’t even seen so far, let alone on a piece of gear that is actually good.
Incidentally, it is also the best one supposedly.

Worst feeling in the world when you get a great corruption on a 410/420 blue world quest item.
I have yet to see one either. I definitely see TD and Infinite stars more than I see Twilight Appendage and Gushing Wounds.
It has one rank, I cant remember how many corruptions there are but if there were say 50 corruptions in total, you would have a 1/50 chance of getting gushing wounds (assuming they are entirely random).
Tell that to the bloke with 7 GW corruptions…
It’s just a matter of luck, I think. But, one thing to keep in mind is that due to its low rank, it’ll be rarer than the other corruptions. Let’s say you’re hunting the tentacle corruption. You could get it on rank1, on rank2, on rank3. Out of the entire pool of possible corruptions, tentacles seem to take up three of the spots and therefore a chance for getting one of them is bigger. Gushing has only one rank to get, therefore it’s logical the chance of getting that will be smaller. Trying to hunt gushing is a bit like trying to hunt a specific rank of tentacles.
The rarest corruptions for me is
first gushing wounds (that i dont need)
second haste%%
third mastery %% that i need like a madman.
All the rest are in my bags idling ^^

Never had it in few months.
Altough only saw only 2 crit damage ones, 3 IS corruptions, which is also very rare.
Gushing wound is not rarer than say rank 3 masterful, but it is rarer than any masterful.
With ranks there are about 50 corruptions you can get, so you will have a 3/50 to get a masterful of any rank, but only 1/50 of getting gushing wound since it doesn’t have ranks.
its the one u want so it feels rarer if u dont have it…human psychology
I noticed too - it has very low drop rate.
Well. Let’s not forget the fact that people can sell gw boe’s in AH. so it’s not that hard to imagine seeing someone with 7 of them.

It’s apparently very rare. To make it even worse, I got one on of my chars recently for the first time, looked at the tooltip and it didn’t say gushing wounds and personally I didn’t think it was very good based on that info. Now I can’t find it anywhere, I might have scrapped it and worse case scenario I cleansed it.
At this point, everything that’s not leech or avoidance seems pretty rare.
It does seem to be the most rare, guaranteed sources of corruption are supposed to be a less than 2% chance of giving you the one that you want, but I’ve never seen a GW drop.
I sit on 3 TD tier 3,and i think those are probably the best when it comes to PvE content?Gushing is top for pvp?
And also never saw a drop from Gushing.

All wounds my characters have (that is ~30 characters, and no … stop staring!) are on shields. It seems to appear more on shields, and way less on other weapon/armor types.
I got only one, and that’s on my dh.
Havent seen a single one dropping.
