Is it allowed to have chars on both factions on pvp server? (using 2 accounts)

I think the question speaks for itself;
I know there is a player that uses 2 accounts on the same pvp-server that enjoys ganking ppl with his char from 1 faction and then enjoys “rubbing it in” by whispering the ganked char with his char from his 2nd account.

I know that you can not create characters for both factions on a pvp server so my first thought is that the mentioned player is using a “work-around” for this rule by using 2 accounts to create chars on a pvp server for both factions.

Edit: For all the comments that think I am offended or w/e, this is not the case and was not a part of my question, it was just to explain how i found out about the situation this person is using.

The question is about if it is allowed and if it should be allowed;
I personally think that it is something that blizzard does not want, or they would have allowed people creating chars on opposing factions on a pvp server.

So what?

Ignore him and move on.

Do you people cry about EVERYTHING in here?

There is nothing to stop you doing the same if that’s what you want. Yes it is allowed because he is not technically breaking any rules, and it’s quite a clever psychological tactic. It will annoy people, which makes them make mistakes.

Best thing you can do is ignore him, or see the funny side and have some banter.

I am one of these people who has characters on both factions of Golemagg.
Im not using for the whisp cry tho.

Sometimes there are funny situations, when you want to speak to that player. For example Horde lock killed me in WP. I hunted him down and killed him, only to be killed by him again, because he used soulstone :smiley: I didnt expect that, so I congratulated him on doing so.

Im not seeing this as a problem for Blizzard, coz its extra money for them with 0 cost.

True,

The other day I also saw a guy controlling 5 mages with one keyboard and one mouse. He pays for 5 accounts to be able to do that.

Probably is fun, who freaking cares?

The world is filled with little snowflakes that get offended by everything. The product of these people: BFA

while an annoying thing to do its not against the rules because its 2 separate accounts.

just put him/them on ignore and move on.

A bit salty ? ignore ? problem solved …

I know multiboxing is allowed, i used to dualbox for some time myself; For all the people that think i am offended / crying about it / whatever - I am not, see the edit in my original post / question.

Back in the day, cross faction talk was banned in the TOS.
They removed that line (when they added battlenet chat i guess) so i guess it’s ok now. (need source, not sure, talking to someone you just kill sound like a grey area to me)

Btw, do you really need a second account to talk to an horde player ? Just add as battlenet friend don’t work ?

Personally I’d wish you could have cahracters on both factions, because I simply wish to level both Horde and Alliance on the same realm.

Personally, i would love an option like :
[ ] Enable cross-faction talk. If you enable it you accept that’s not a channel moderate by Blizzard and no GM request concerning cross-faction will be accepted.

But, hey, #nochange
