I have been bedridden for a month now since shortly before the Event began and back then I have read that it is a big timegated grind. Now I am back again but I wonder if it is even feaseable to take part of it anymore.
So am I too late or can I still get the rewards of it?
The Event runs until 8th of Jan you should be fine.

You will get more tokens once you get your first 100. Not only event quests give you tokens, also some weekly ones in Khaz Algar does too. I guess you can get enough to collect everything, but if you are not even trying for it, you will get enough to get what you want.
Also transmog cost reduces after each purchase, so don’t be scared when you see the vendor.

It´s far from too late.
Thing is , everybody bawled their eyes out for 2 days because they couldn´t buy everything by suppertime on day 1, until blizzard massively buffed tokens to the point where even players that completely ignored the event and just did their usual weekly routine hit the 100 tokens milestone in 2-3 days… And after that point you get tokens for just anyout everythign under the sun… For example every event kill on the siren isle, and that´s 3 events in under 10 minutes, infinitely repeatable, drops 2… 
As a result, for anyone that plays 1-2 hours a day on average or goes hard for one day on the weekend, and doesn´t hyperfocus on only one small facet such as M+, the event is effectively sucked dry and irrelevant after a week or two at the latest
So, to reiterate, it´s far from too late, you can still get everything and then start farming timewalking badges passively, possibly faster than you´d like to

They removed the timegating after a week, you can earn everything within a week or two, even faster if you have a lot of alts.
Running BRD lfr alone gives you nearly 100 tokens per character, and you dont even need to be max level to run it.

It may seem daunting, but you get a lot of Tokens from doing anything really.
Plus the cost of the Armor sets go from 100 on the first to 20 on the 3rd.
Yep, no problem at all getting the tokens for the key items! There are fewer people doing BRD LFR though, so with just a bit of queueing patience you can square the achievements too.
I really like how they’ve done the token distribution on this event, with rep or TW tokens an option once all the cosmetics have been bagged.

You’re fine, Almost every weekly and daily awards tokens and the quest chains/achievements are pretty easy and fast.

The first 100 Tokens are a bit of a pisser, but after that they rain from the sky. Just about every weekly or somethig like that will award them. You will go feeling like “I’m not gonna make it!” to “Welp, better dump some Tokens into TW Badges again…”
I really should remember to do all my conversions before the event ends

Yeah same here, I’m gonna park a toon at the vendor to pass all my Tokens to. Been doing Siren Isle farming and before I knew I already had a bunch of them.

There in a vendor in the anniversary area, in the middle. You can buy bags of TW badges for anniversary tokens.
I sold over 300 myself and I got another 200 that I need to change before the event is over.

Okay so I am already done with the T2 Sets except Evoker because I do not play any Evoker. Now I am saving 120 for the rest of the Blizzard Transmogs and the Birthday Pets.
I also read there is a weekly for killing Queen Ansurek that gives a lot of Currency for this, where do I find this quest?
No quest. Just kill her once and you’ll get to loot 15 tokens. Only works once per account per week.

Just jumping in to remind everyone that if you haven’t already done it and want the secret felcycle mount the pre requisite achievement of “Detective” will also disappear when the event ends. The quickest way to get your “Detective” achievement is to complete the two “crate” achievements,
Just another question about that Detective Title.
Can you still do the two other quests that award the title? I read they were timegated.
All the options are open now, I did the very annoying bounce all over azeroth ones last week and got the detective title.
By the 8th quest I was ready to harpoon that obnoxious little seal and scream as she slid down the blade “just give me the achievement or I’ll feed you to the pet tamers”
