Players that havent even entered a +2 are not interested in M+ as a whole and can be disregarded.

I suggested the people in charge to pick melee DPS so they could benefit from Mystic Touch, which I would apply religiously to all enemy targets thanks to Zen Pulse, thereby maximizing the damage output of my group.

I’m absolutely on board with you here. When it comes to difficulty, earning KSM is the same as reaching 1400 CR in PvP. Both goals can be reached with 4 buttons.

Not rly when ur talking about how many will get a mount total, and valuing its rarity.
They clearly werent “easy” as u proclaim if ur grey parsing them though.
As shown, by the large improvements ur logs show u could make.
We are talking about the amount of people that have entered M+. People that havent even touched a mere +2 are not interested in the concept. If they were they would have at least entered any key to get a feeling for it until they then potentially decided to not pursue it any further due to difficulty.
The mount is just one of many. Its rarity is not that high and if im generous at the middle of the pack. And the KSM number will rise by default in the future due to A: People investing more time and B: Valor cap removal.
PvPers have always been much better at the game than PvErs.
PvE players used to run around in their premades in BWL / AQ gear and get owned by people running around in R10 gear in AB / WSG.
I don´t get how this is even a controversial take at all. The best PvPers could, if they wanted to jump in and dominate WoW PvE, the reason they don´t is because the content is too boring and easy for them
I mean, yeah you have to be on some copium to try to convince yourselves that the current awful dungeon pool is good and engaging content.
8 dungeons… Awful affix. 4 of those dungeons are re-used. Out of the 4 new dungeons two of them are straight up awful.
The only thing keeping M+ going is the gear treadmill. People will claim they play for the challenge or whatever, and maybe 0.1 % of the population does. The rest? Just the treadmill and feeling of gaining power.

if it wasn’t for the all the free gear you get thrown at you in m+ and the system would be like arena barely anyone would touch it

That’s the opposite though.
I went in with 0 optimization, doing the bare minimum, and it still worked.
Could I do better? Sure.
But why would I want to try and improve if I can reach my goal with minimal effort?
I think many of you misunderstand this thread, and believe I made it with the intent of bragging about achieving something difficult, when in reality I’m stating that it was just way too easy.

Don’t wanna kill your enthusiasm coming from how good you are but KSM is equal to achieving 1400 in 2 / 3 bracket
The funny thing about the mount is that I took one glance at it when the model was released, then forgot about it altogether. It was only when a guildie was getting excited about getting their KSM mount that I realised I must have had it since I got KSM early in the season, but I’d never even noticed.
OP, that’s how excited some of us are about the mount.
