Is MoP the end?

We already had a “rush” mop last year - the remix.

But now MOP has to be executed properly. I want to see the vale pre-Siege of Orgrimmar, beautiful and pristine, I want to do the old dailies, I want to have a farm. So many things to do, and time is short.

Please Make HEROIC + raiding in MOP CLASSIC - we dont want same boring heroic raids without way to challenge !

Why not just mythic retail if you want this?

becuase I like mist of pandaria content and heroic + raiding wouldnt change anything for casuals just add extra challenge for people that want it. its easy to implement also.

why woudl be it the end

after mop in 2025 we will get wod in 2027 then legion in 2029 and then bfw in 2031

i kinda hope that in mop classic we will get proper m+ instead protocols

There’s no way they let WoD Classic run for two years. The winning move is to go through WoD in 8-10 months, avoiding the main problem the original launch had: lack of content.

Hopefully MoP will be the last

There wont be an end, blizz has 0 staffspendings for classic (because no one works on it) and the money they need to host those super low quality instable realms are close to 0 in the year 2025. As long as there are 1000 (thousand) people worldwide subbing only for classic, it will make them money and be continued.
mop hype

it sure feels like a beta game when I’m getting attacked by the almost-15-year-old earthern ring npcs just before the last boss of hour of twilight  but even if there aren’t dedicated devs just for classic, at least some retail devs work on it, probably doing overtime too…and about the unstable realms, i don’t know what you are referring to, perhaps it’s your isp’s upstream which is unstable? for criticism to stick it must be fair

Mostly about the fact that they can barely handle a 40vs40 bg, 1 year ago when horde actually queued wintergrasp in wotlk classic, it was just a mess because they couldnt handle 80vs80 / 120vs120.

I dont know, I think the community tried fair criticism for quite some time now, maybe its time to change the strategy and be unfair :cowboy_hat_face:

The real ending is Wotlk.

You just creating your alternative ending where you keep playing trash expansions and paying €15/month.

Personal opinion: I despise Pandaland. I won’t be playing Panda, so when I get bored of DS, I will go to the anniversary and see if I feel can feelthe same enjoyment in karzhan when it is the third time.
But I heard good of Legion and although I never played in retail (stopped playing mid WOD), I might return for Legion classic to get the experience.

MoP was the point when i started to branch out more towards other things

SWTOR was released in 2011 and GW2 in 2012 for example

pvp is meh, the dungeons come second in how much i dislike them (Cata has the first place), the raids and the world i like tho

>Level 85 Night Elf Druid

Yes, MOP is the end unless they skip to Legion.

Hot take MoP is better that Cata and WoD together even if they were combined into single expansion somehow.

  • You have brand new continent with wholesome storyline backed by consistent lore, including Pandaria inner storyline and Horde vs Alliance conflict.
  • full content release with 5 raids extra features like scenarios and challenge modes (prehistoric m+, where skill, not gear, makes you succeed)
  • outdoor activities, world bosses that you can attend to, unlike that being killed in midnight by some sweaty non sleepers like in Classic.
  • new class, and lore backed race, not like worgens who barely got presence in Cata around the world only starting to appear and being developed more in other expansions.

I would not say MoP is perfect (talking about you, Titan forging) but it feels complete experience that could be base for standalone game as MoP Remix proven to be.

I literally wrote “personal opinion” and yet you are trying to correct me.
I played both expansions back in the day, including HC progress raiding.
I like Cata better, storywise, class design-wise (never was a fan of the new talent system for example), and pandas are just a disneyish abomination. Monks had the potential to be cool but failed by far.

Classic going to mop was pretty much always guaranteed, what happens after mop is a mystery. In any case this version of classic will always have players no matter what, even if it’s a small amount and they have to merge servers. And it’s always free money from Blizzard
Also, even if wod happens and is not really well received, people will hype Legion anyway

I think Classic 1 should end after Legion but tbh WOD can have 6 months as it sucks so much and Classic anniversary needs to stop with Wrath.
