Is PvE...boring?

Well, currently (this char) isn’t full 184+ so could get upgrade with that. And with conquest you can buy 200 ilvl, so i’d say it’s better than what you can get before M+7?

But I get 550 conquest per week. I did 3 m+ dungons and got 2 items, both higher than 200 ilvl you get for unranked conquest. Yet you say you can get better ilvl from random bg than m+, which is like… not true.

I can, imply it can improve my character ilvl, it’s not an universal thing for everyone. Doesn’t imply it’s the best gear i could get.

Sure, but you can improve your item level from m+ as well, especially if you don’t have 184 yet, because any m+ level drops higher than 184. Basically m+ is infinitely farmable gear that is higher than 184, the equivalent from pvp that is infintely farmable and not a weekly limited thing is 184, which is what you get from random bgs. So… what’s your point, I seem to be missing it?

Or to put it this way: if someone only does random bgs, they will get a 200 ilvl every couple of weeks on average, and a lot of 184 infinitely farmable. If someone does only m+, even low m+ (+2-5), they will get >184 infinitely farmable, and some 200+ once a week. Either way you go about it, the low m+ player gets better stuff than the random bg player.

Wow you guys, it’s almost like boring is subjective and people have fun doing different things.

So far, my current ilvl get me refused in M+ even low ones. When i get my own group started i fail key because i always get at least one very very bad player in the group. (like dps below tank/ can’t manage mechanics/pulling packs “by mistake” or want to go faster or a charming combination between those options.)

Now i’ve said it was an option for my character, never said you had to do it or you would find it as an attractive option.

Everything is an option when you are below the baseline ilvl I guess, but I don’t see what that has to do with the rest of the conversation, nor whether you get rejected from groups or not. But yes, sure, for you anything could provide upgrades. M0, lfr, unrated pvp, heck even world quests. I would say if you do what you have fun doing eventually you will get upgrades at this point, there is no limiting factor.

yeah pve is boring. thats why theres over 100k concurrent viewers across limit, echo, method and other world first streams. Meantime arenas get 10k viewership at its peak. Also pvp is literally unwatchable for someone who doesnt pvp cause it’s hard af to understand what is going on the screen.
I dont get gear, lets scrape pve. Nice thread dude.

Sure, why didn’t anyone see it before, you are right of course. Obviously, following the same logic Asmongold must be the most interesting thing about WoW, since he gets more views alone than all the concurrent world first streams combined with all the concurent arena streams, because… logic?

He has to be the most entertaining streamer cause he gets that many viewers. PvP is cool and all but it will never be a main feature of wow. Its a waste of resources

The main feature of WoW is leveling. That’s what the majority does. Everything else is not the main feature, they are all side activities. But if that’s something you base your argument about “waste of resources”, well… it doesn’t prove a significant amount of intelligence.

you know, a bit of Bolivian marching powder usually did the trick when it got tedious.

I don’t think so. I think people are obsessed with gear because they fear being left behind the m+ race. And everyone wants that 226 weekly loot from the start because they are used to being able to get it easily.

breathe my dude  its way too easy to taunt you

i’ll be on in the evening. keep it together until then

Lol, made me laugh.

‘One mans meat is another mans poison’. If PvE is your thing and it makes you happy then its not boring.

Oh, right, the kiddie argument… say something stupid and when you get called out on it say “nananana i was just baiting youuuuuuu”.

I am right tho. During world first race people see boss hp going down, dps and hps meters, adds spawning and audience understands that. Pvp is much harder to understand and people don’t watch it. It’s a snooze fiesta.

Right about what? PvE is a snooze fiesta to me, pvp PvP is a snooze fiesta to you, doesn’t make anyone right. It’s a subjective point of view, different preferences, and so on.

Yeah and clearly more people find pve interesting and pvp a snooze fiesta to watch. Most people are bad players and that’s okay but as long as majority of community is bad they won’t watch pvp cause they don’t understwnf what’s going on. Easy
