Is the classic era AH also cross server now or not

Cause if it is cross server and the horde side only has 5 pages of total auctions, we have an even bigger population problem than I thought.

To my knowledge it is. Not sure about the situation on other servers, on Razorfen, one of the few (German PvE) servers that is still unconnected, the AH is only frequented by AH bots and the prices went insane in the last couple of weeks. A stack of nightfin soup >300g, a stack of runecloth >60g, … just to give you an impression. The only satisfying thing currently is, that those bots spent A LOT of money putting all those stuff into the AH and noone cares about that sh*t or buys that out

Since the realms are connected the AHs should be shared, but RP realms aren’t connected and since you don’t say what realm you are on that could be the culprit.

I am on Nethergarde keep, a normal server

I just did an AH scan on the classic era realms. Pyrewood Village and there was 104 items in total and on Firemaw 1962 auctions on Horde.

Alliance was 1240 on Pyrewood and 883 on Firemaw.

You don’t want to know the result of the population scan it did while I was at the AH. That is depressing. Luckily it’s not cross realm.

This is the scan on the horde Nethergarde AH

1 second scan…

Very similar to my numbers so it seems that the AH is region wide for PvE realms.

I didn’t use an addon I just looked at the bottom of the first page which was “1-50 of 104 auctions”.

Meanwhile on the Alliance side on the same server there are over 1000 auctions.

How I made and sending a spy on a PvP server to see the horde AH there. I wonder if basically the horde AH is doing well on PvP realms and suffering on Normal realms, turns out it is slightly better with ~600 auctions…

It looks like they might need to merge the auctions more
