Is the Nexus-Princess Ky'veza Suppose to be a Unfairly Cheap?

Is this “everyone” in the thread with us now?

the fight is just a matter of mastering the mechanics
read about the boss and understand each mechanic

the boss himself hits like a wet noodle
the fight is pretty much dodging one shot mechanics on repeat.
look up a guide.

Absolutely . Now look yourself in the mirror and ask your inner self , If you were asked to chose , what would you chose between the two .
Kiveza or Mage tower .

Mage tower did not have a single fight that was not doable , because you had eye conditions , or you blinked .

I’ve never done Mage Tower, so I can’t compare them.
This fight however is utter trash.

Neither.
But if we’re doing all the nemesises: Zek’vir, any day of the week over the other 3. That does not mean I liked that fight - I didn’t - but I liked the other three even less.

I like how they “wage war on add-ons” by making all encounter visible and obvious enough to dodge using only your own beautiful pair of eyes and there is this nemesis fight…

Yeah, it baffles me as well.
And honestly, I probably wouldn’t struggle with it if they just used a different color combination.

But noooooooooooooo
They had to take the worst possible combination for the most common color-blind deficiency.

You’re absolutely right. When she randomly spawns in a delve, for some reason her mechanics are much more visible to me. It might be only me tho. Or her den is too dark… I even played with my graphics settings to help myself but… Meh

yes it is supposed to be cheap, because blizzs’ dev team is not capable of developing a fight, that is challenging, without making any mistake an immediate oneshot…and the mechanics barely visible by making the animation colour maybe one shade different from the background. if youre lucky.
Which is also, why its just simply not fun doing their “challenge” stuff.
its the lowest quality difficulty increase, only undercut by making the enemy bullet sponges.

against tos i guess.

Gear doesn’t matter if she one-shoots you.

Dude, I’m 691. I been getting as much gear as the delves will let me
Besides, like everyone else has been mentioning, the gear doesn’t matter if she one-hit kills you.

THANK YOU! I’m glad someone agrees.

No kidding. This is the most work I’ve seen DBM have to do.

No need. Your mother already gave me her’s.

It takes the fight from a 10+ minute one to a 5 minute one. It’s as much a test of endurance as reaction.

While some exceptionally dedicated players did the fight at an ilvl similar to that, it’s not exactly advised or expected. Not to mention 691 feels pretty low even for a delver.

What?
691 implies full champion and hero pieces

When will people realise that if they stop trying to do these challenges, Blizzard will stop making them, and then start making good content again.

Like what? The lack of non trivial solo content I’d say is one of the larger problems with WoW overall.

Like sure, this fight as the only difficult thing a solo player can do is probably too difficult. But as the top end of a larger pantheon of solo challenges it would fit right in.

You can get higher with vault pieces and crests, but that will take time. I guess a bit above 700 will be the max with delves only.

Delves only is between 704-710 realistically.

710 on 6 slots (4 Tier pieces 2 trinkets) and 720 on the rest. And 730 Cloak ofc.

So probably around 717-718.

Mythic BIS is 723.X

So 5 average ilvl less from delves.

Isn’t Champion 8/8 at 704? With a 730 cloak it would mean that a character with fully upgraded Champion gear and Reshii Wraps would be 705-706 average.

Getting Gilded Eternal Crests with delves only will take ages.
Even Runed will be a chore.
