Is there a way of tracking / a addon to see time for 5 dungeon/ hour reset timer

hi guys,

Is it correct that I can not reset a raid/dungeon more than 5 times/hour in classic?

If I get the message “you have enetered to many instance” , is there a way or addon to track when I can enter again?

I haven’t found an addon, but I tend to start a timer on the in-game stopwatch (or just make note of the time on the in-game clock) when I start the first run.

That one kinda does it (it includes a list of the most recent dungeons you did and when you did them so you can check).

Since you usually just hit this limit when you’re farming a timer is usually easier however.

its 10 in retail i think and savedinstances warns you when you are at 8/9 /hour

You can go into 10 instances an hour, but I thought you could only manually reset all instances 5 times an hour

There’s no limit to the number of resets. You can enter 10 instances an hour (even the same one). Dungeon finder instances might be excluded from the limit. (See reply below.)

Ah ok, I read that it was only 5 resets like the OP said.

But I can confirm dungeon finder is not excluded, or at least holiday dungeons aren’t, when I’m farming holiday dungeons I constantly get the number of instances exceeded message

it is 5 resets per hour. I just reseted ZG raid 5 times and I cant enter now it says you entered to many instances, and I want to know if addon works. The savedinstance addon that someone linked gives a lot of errors, does not seem to work for classic

The 5 instances per hour might be a classic thing. Retail is definetly 10 per hour.

For classic you could try https://wago.io/OXlZupyKm, if you use the WeakAura addon. (Then again the comments don’t look too promising on that one. I actually don’t really have a clue on Classic. I missed that part from your original question).

That’s where the confusion is then, it used to be 5 and a quick search brought up 5 resets (must have been an old page or referencing Classic) but if OP is playing classic and not retail that we’re the confusion lies.

Retail and Classic addons could be different.
