We don’t know yet.
And I think it speaks volumes about Blizz’s treatment of Classic that we all just accept this change as yet another change and try to find out how to live with it.
The normal reaction would in my opinion have been us thinking that this was a bug, or a spillover from SoD and clamour for Blizz to remove it / repair the bug.
