Is There Seriously No Gender Option In WOTLK PTR?

Well yes and no I guess, isn’t it easier to just write "I don’t agree" this way it is secured that you are the sender and not pulling everyone in, no one can really go against ones feelings unless they are being pulled out as universal

And now I migth even be given a holiday from the Forums, well see you gyus and gals in a little while!
I could recommend all agreeing with me, or just thinking I was somewhat in the rigth to spam-report some of the ohter halv, but I wont, as I said: As someone say: I strongly disagree with you., but I will defend your right to say so even with my own life (paraphrased by yours truly). And I’ll keep on doing and saying this! I have tried living in a dictature, that’s not an experience I wish for even the worst trolls and :censored: in these forums!

Reported and hidden is where.

Maybe not, I suspect what your post was marked as can trigger what action is taken.

I noticed the last time, when I was getting all my post hidden in a debate, that only one was removed and the flag-tag was not spam but inapropriate.

I as far as I can se I haven’t really noticed you go so far over the line that you qualify for a forum holiday

Well you never know, I was given one for swearing over Retail ín this froum once  I suspect this is the reason I can’t post pictures and links.
And honestly I think I have crossed no lines, only expressing my opinion.

This for stating biological truths  So much for freedom of speech and opinion …we’ll see.

It’s kinda funny that the people who find the gender of video game orcs extremely important and cry that they’re being censored when people disagree with them are the ones most likely to accuse others of being snowflakes.

Just play the game. Cover the body type part of the character creation screen with your finger when making a new character if you find it too upsetting.

Fast action from a mod who doesn’t have time or interest to look this through, seem to be the way here :expressionless:

Why could you not have done this in the first place?

Or in other words " Shhhhh sleep sheeple, sleep…"

Testing, 1,2, 3,

Maybe it’s the word Snowflake

Testing, testing!

Nah, you’re safe!

But when used as an insult on forums, you might get flagged.
At least on these forums

And I doubt you will get a forum vacation, you seem to control yourself when you post here

Just disagree with me, that seem to be it

No need - I’m not bothered by the gender of video game characters.

Since you obviously are, try my advice.

Ok not you as in you Bob, but as in you whomever was bothered by male/female in the creation screen

And if it does not matter to you one way or another, why are you not also telling those wanting this change to do so?
Why is it always only the ones not wanting this change who’re told not to care?

It’s not. There are plenty of people like you telling anyone who wants changes like this not to care.

Also, you just look ridiculous for objecting to a change that’s intended to be positive/inclusive.

Why are you so invested? Why is Vanillataur, the bovine humanoid that exists within a fantasy world where dragons can turn into elves, elves can turn into bears and bears can turn into 6 inch tall skeletons, complaining that the words “male” and “female” are missing from a character creation screen and insisting that the strict ‘realism’ of a gender binary has to exist in game systems for that fantasy world?

So? They are a multi-billion international company. Do u expect them to not go by the rising new standards of humane value?

You are the kind of person to block schools from colored children in the 30’s.

And the “don’t reply with it won’t affect me” is basicly “don’t hit me with arguments that disprove me”

Good luck in life… I hope your cars reverse warning system fails and u scratch the paint.

You, Bob, is not bothered, but yet you are only telling me not to care, not the other ones, what will not be named

Maybe because even Tauren are born as either male or female? If they had only removed the words, I would have been - if not OK with the change, but I could at least have lived with it. It’s the substitution of the Body types one and two what bothers me. Gender binarity is a fact of birth, what happens after is up to role-playing and free choice.

I would also be ok if this was in Retail only, but Classic was to be a museum, and changing the inscriptions on museum exhibits to fit the current fad is bad practice.

I don’t see anyting inclusive in replacing one decsriptive pair of words with another. I still do not see everybody included, and I do not myself feel included either.

Who are these imaginary people? You’re arguing with strawmen.

Why does it bother you? Why can’t you “live with it”? Why is this the hill you choose to die on out of all the ridiculous and unrealistic things in WoW?

Can you explain a single way in which this materially impacts your WoW experience? They’ve removed the word Male from the character creation screen. That’s it.

Were you just on Twitter a couple of hours ago? Is this your break from trolling on there?

How often this is said, and how often I shake my head at it wondering who is behind the keyboard. “This LITERALLY doesn’t affect you” because you think so “This doesn’t impact your immersion” because you think so. They haven’t just removed it from the char creation screen, it’s part of the barber shop also, and that’s just where we know about at the moment.

As I’ve said to some others, why are you even here? Why are YOU bothered by people giving feedback? On an old fantasy game at that, trying to provide a Classic experience, that’s being changed by those who drilled home NoChanges and are now so far from it.
