I have noticed since day 1 after I came back to Classic that our AH has a mysterious person posting items at an inflated price. I can not for the life of me understand the reason for this. At first I thought it might be gold-buying, but the prices (on all items) are too low for that, at 400-500G buy-out. This player (I believe it’s one because of the similarities in names) has 25% of the items listed on AH. Why? What is his reason? Are there more servers with the same problem? Is it a way of destroying Auctioneer and similar add-ons, without outright banning them? Blizzard support refuses to do anything about the problem, stating that the AH is the players responsibility, although the players obviously have no remedy against anyone like this.
Pretty sure they do it to ‘break’ addon scan prices

Yeah, and by they we’re obviously talking Blizzard. But why? If they don’t like the auction add-ons, why not just ban them?
It’s not blizzard trying to skew the results……it’s players

If we’re talking the ones with repeated numbers/weird numbers, yeah present on most servers. If your addon is messed with by them, get a better addon
