Issue with character creation - name unavailable (SoD)

So I have 2 wow accounts. On the first account I have 40 lvl character in alliance. I decided to temporary delete this character in order to create a horde character on my second account with the same name. After I deleted my alliance 40 lvl character on the first account to make the name available, I am unable to create a new horde character on the same realm with that name but on the second account. However I am able to create 1 lvl alliance character with that name on the same account as my alliance 40 character.

I don’t really understand what is the problem. Any ideas of how it can be solved?
I am talking about Season of Discovery.

If level 40 delete, name is reserved for some weeks if level 40 should make up his mind to Undelete. Only under level 10 name is immediately available. I not understand why you can create new Allinance … maybe because same account . try create ally character with same name on other account? Can you do that?

Sounds to me like it’s two battle.net accounts not two Warcraft accounts on one battle.net account.

Names are reserved after deletion for 30 days. So you can’t get a free name change by deleting and remaking anymore.

It lets you make a new Alliance character, because it will let you make a new character with the old name before the 30 days is up only on the account you deleted the character on. So you’ll either have to wait 30 days, or use a different name for any other account.
