Vanilla wow is about the journey.
Can we please get to experience the journey again?
Permanent phase 6 realm, fine. It’s not very enjoyable gameplay, but sure, keep it as a museum. That makes sense.
TBC Classis, fine. Great for people that want to play that game. It’s a different game, there are many good games. TBC is a game. We can play it.
So far so good.
What we are missing now is Classic Vanilla Fresh. Really simple. Servers where everyone start at lvl 1 in phase 1 to begin the journey.
It’s about the journey.
I have played emulated Vanilla for over 5 years now. The journey is what I like and what I want to experience again and again. I may want to visit a museum sometimes, I may want to try different games like TBC, but I want to experience the Vanilla journey every day forever as I have done since 2015.

I guess the difficulty from Blizzard´s perspective might be, that, even such a ‘fresh’ server, eventually reaches ‘the end’.
Do not get me wrong, I am with you; it is about the journey 
I sadly just consider it unlikely, that we will see that many different kinds of servers.

im all for fresh classic servers even tho im not gonna join one but they will end up exactly the same or even worse than the current ones are…the world will be as dead as it is now in a matter of weeks…gamer mentality has changed over the years…you are basically asking people to play like they played 15 years ago which is never gonna happen cuz you will always have sweaty tryhards that will min max the fun and rpg element out of anything when given the chance
But when all the min/max rushers all race over to TBC, you can surely move to a Classic-forever, without any of those ‘end game is all that matters’ people, as they’ll have long-gone.
Therefore what’s the difference between that and a ‘fresh server’?
It seems that you feel that the reason you’re not currently enjoying the journey is because you feel that all these ‘rushers’ are negatively affecting it; but you haven’t said how, or what they are doing to impact your own journey.
I’d be interested to know what it is you want to do, that you cannot currently do due to having ‘rushers’ on your server? Is it the economy? Is it the boosting mindset? Or is it something else?

I know exactly what I want and what I am talking about. It has nothing to do with anything you mention.
I started fresh on Nostalrius. Awesome fun journey.
I started Fresh on Kronos 2. Awesome fun journey.
I started fresh on Northdale. Awesome fun journey.
I started fresh in Classic. Awesome fun journey.
The journey starts at the first patch/phase on a server where everyone starts at lvl 1. The Journey have ended in Classic. At least the kind of journey I enjoy. A permanent phase 6 museum have it’s place and fresh have it’s own place. Same with TBC. It’s all different versions of this game. But it’s different games.
So now I would like to start fresh in Classic again. It’s a unique thing that can’t be replicated on a phase 6 realm.
This is nothing new or strange. Vanilla have a beginning and an end. We have reached the end. Can we pls have a new beginning again?
I want to start a lvl 1 on a fresh realm at phase 1 where everyone start at lvl 1 and we progress to the end again, and again, and again. Same as I have done several times already over the years. The best and most fun way, in my opinion, to enjoy Vanilla. To do the journey, over and over. You can still keep the last phase museum (no one will ever lose anything) and all other expansions on the side with whatever changes and character boosting and whatever Blizzard adds.
In over 5 years of playing this game I have never really loved last phase Vanilla or TBC. It’s like kinda ok games, but nothing like the Vanilla journey. There are many games and versions of WoW. Some are bad, some are ok, some a great, but nothin come close to the Fresh vanilla journey. That’s something I love.
It’s weird that Blizzard can’t see that people are IN LOVE with the Vanilla Journey and don’t even talk about it or even seem to acknowledge it. Makes me sad.

That’s because old expansions are best when they are fresh and why people rerolled fresh in droves… and why FRESH TBC and vanilla servers would be a very good choice for a sizable group of players.
I am still doing the journey stuff. Min-maxers and zug-zug don’t matter. I just rolled a new alt today. It’s all about the journey for me.

I truly don’t understand why people keep bringing up min-maxers and zug-zug and stuff. Fresh vanilla have nothing to with with any of that.
I am not saying that you can’t enjoy the game or can’t experience some sort of journey in phase 6. Ofc you can (I have made the journey in every phase). But it’s not a journey and game I personally LOVE (the phase 6 journey). I personally LOVE Fresh Vanilla. As in, I LOVE it, I am IN LOVE with that journey.
There are many games. We can play them. We can play Vanilla phase 6. It’s a game. We can play TBC. It’s a game. There are many games and versions of games.
But, there is only one Fresh Vanilla experience. And that’s what I LOVE. It doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the game in other ways. But that’s the game I LOVE. And that journey is only possible on a fresh server.

I LOVE levelling in Classic. I don’t mind in which phase, I dont mind what other do. It’s not a game, it’s WoW. I do not play anything else, Not BCC, not Retail, not even fb minigames.
I am going to stay in Classic Era servers and do this journey of LOVE over and over and over again till the day I get too old to hold a mouse <3

We truly need it, it can be implemented with paid option to transfer characters from progressive Classic realms to the Forever Classic but not vice versa, this way blizzard will clearly see monetary reason for those progressive realms.
I can assure you, that after TBC and WotLK people will beg for this realms to happen, and it’ll actually encourage to play the game in unique way and truly invest in your main, because you know that once “the journey” is done, there will be another one and the next one, assuming this you dont really need to make high lvl twinks as much as you normally would, and give it a go in next cycle but as your main.
We do need some changes in classic though, something against WB meta and complete removal of boosting. This is the way.

So it’s purely about raiding then? It’s purely about patches which introduce raid content, nothing else?
Each to their own but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. My journey begins at level one in the starting zone, not in Molten Core at L60.

It has to do with everything and nothing in particular.
The economy, professions, world pvp, battlegrounds, dunegons, raids, pre-bis, questing and a new community. All from fresh.
What makes Vanilla so great? It’s not one thing, it’s all the things combined. It was a game made by a bunch of dudes making cool content. You can’t put your finger on one thing that made it great.
It’s a collection of many things that combined is FRESH.

You can’t keep living the same journey over and over again. Classic WoW is not time travel.

Yes I can and I have and I am. I just prefer to do it on Blizzard official servers. I CAN start fresh right on on the new Vanilla Private server that started last week.
Surely you can’t be serious posting that in a Classic forum?
